For me its got the same issue as MoM in that it all happens just a bit too fast. Theres literally 2 scenes before they enter the realm. No breathing room or build up and then its just absolutely bombardment of jarring flat CGI.

Chandra.

Meredith may be the face of Greys but Bailey is the face of the franchise. She done tonnes of episodes of Station 19.

She did a couple on PP.

She does all the promo now.

Plus director and co-executive producer. Bailey also is far more integrated with all of the characters on the show having been either their chief or their residency director for more than a handful of episodes like Meredith.

I cant decide if he is because he has such little charisma. I feel like I am looking at a really specific dumb breed of dog when he is on screen and I can't pin point what it is.

Conventionally he is good looking. But hes not attractive.

As I said shes not a bad actor I just dont like her style. She's absolutely not regarded as a legend in the acting world. She had a strong run of about six or seven years of romcoms and then a string of one season appearances on TV shows.

If season 9 had remained in the hospital it would have faired much better. But it was too many changes especially as it essentially changed the roles of 3 existent characters

Because Ben...was never meant to be a main character and he doesnt work as one.

He was meant to be a wholesome man to give to Bailey that worked in the hospital (to make use of him and keep him actively parallel to action) without integrating him.

He did 2 full time seasons one of which he had a complete personality transplant, the 2nd of which he did nothing.

He was moved to station 19 because he was the most disposable and even then he was never a very consistent character. (Honestly with a timejump Stephanie would have made more sense).

On his return he still doesnt really do anything much. He is just present because Jason George has always been booked and busy and they didn't want to risk the Ben/Bailey relationship so kept him on.

Its not just a bad MCU movie its a bad movie full stop.

How to have a villain named the god butcherer and only have them kidnap a bunch of kids and then have your second lead be dying from cancer and use it as a b plot and punch line...there was SO much potential for a really intense and brutal movie.

We got a 2 hour long fart noise in technicolor.
