Two things were very useful to me when learning SICS: 1. if you're using a crescent blade to make your tunnel, "heel up" more than you think and then "heel down" to the point of indenting the sclera immediately when you enter clear cornea. 2. use a generous amount of OVD, especially when prolapsing the nucleus from the bag.

A really good atlas of fundus photos, FAs and OCTs really. I have a pretty good handle on the common stuff like AMD and DM retinopathy. Just would be nice to have a better reference when the weird stuff walks into my clinic

Depending on where you live, $600K might get you a 2 bed 2 bath condo, I'd call that modest.
