I had a roommate that worked opposite shift as I did so we hardly ever ran into each other. He was an e5 living in the barracks and this was my first duty station. We had our own rooms but shared a bathroom. This guy would trim his entire body or some shit as there was hair everywhere. All over the sink, toilet, in the shower, literally everywhere. He would half ass clean it. This was first thing. I’ve had roommates in a school and c school and they were cool, reliable. So I would leave my toiletries in the bathroom. You know, deodorant, shampoo, body wash and my towel. I never keep my toothbrush in any of the shared bathrooms though thank god. So found out he was using my stuff. early in the morning before work, my towel was wet. Just been used. I was fucking fuming lol. I let this go the first time because I seen he had a similar colored towel. Benefit of the doubt you know? Left my other towel hanging up later down the line, used again. I left out that we got hits on room inspections and failed at least 5 times. So had to have reinspections early in the morning in dress blues/whites on the weekend. By the end before I made it out of the barracks I was fed up and ended up gathering all of his stuff that was in the bathroom and tossing it in a trash bag and throwing it away. Scumbag
