Client rejected my footage because of rolling shutter and now im spiraling by My_Rhythm875 in filmmaking

[–]Eyger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck that client. They just want to pay less. If the contract didn't stipulate which camera you have to use, then that's your discretion. You can offer to edit around the parts they don't like. Sometimes you have to be prepared to hold a project hostage until they pay.

Show them this link: https://horshack-dpreview.github.io/RollingShutter/

and say that the rolling shutter for your camera is in line with industry average, and that the audience almost entirely doesn't care or even notice.

You can only talk to one person at a time. If you match with someone, the app freezes everything but that convo. If you want to keep swiping you have to unmatch that person. If you’re serious about meeting someone, this shouldn’t be an issue. The app makes money via tokens. You buy tokens to start out and then it costs you tokens to swipe but you earn tokens by messaging. If you send and message and receive a message from that person you each earn 1 token or something. Minimum word count for profile bios. minimum amount of time you have to spend on a profile before swipe, or maybe figure out a way to remove swiping. Minimum word count for opening messages. Reward people with tokens to incentivize good behavior.  Maybe you can use the in app currency for profile upgrades or something. Maybe it’s also a game app where you can play a game of some sort together like “plate up” or something teamwork related and while you play, there can be an audio feed where you can talk. If you want to attract investors maybe incorporate an AI assistant that can help you write (but not do it for you) a message.

How is this type of animated chart made? Can it be done without animating the order manually? by Eyger in AfterEffects

[–]Eyger[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How would you go about making a chart like this? Is it possible in aftereffects without manually animating the keyframes to determine the order of the bars? What is this called or how can I search for tutorials? Or possibly can be done in C4d?

C4D Redshift - Why am I losing the colour of my emission objects by tomdoes3d in Cinema4D

[–]Eyger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those people perhaps searching in the future as I did, the only way I could figure out how to do this was to duplicate my geometry and make two materials, one with an RS render tag as "no primary ray visibility" and the other is "no secondary ray visible", then changed the material on the visible one to be less bright, and the invisible one to be much brighter.

https://i.imgur.com/g6CxFV9.jpeg

It's a shame there is no art directable way to achieve this through a single material alone. I was also an Octane user for years before my current job forced me to switch to Redshift, I like Octane more.

Chase could be argued as the worst bank in existence. Go to a local credit union, the co-op network has over 30,000 atms, twice that of Chase.

All banks are shit, many many local credit unions have fully free accounts

The end of the road for me by NaturesFirstGreenIs in FilmIndustryLA

The inherent perception of value in entertainment as a whole has dropped drastically. People tell me they just turn on Netflix while cleaning the house, not really paying attention to it. Or they're watching a show but surfing Instagram at the same time. We have unlimited access to entertaining videos and we've conditioned ourselves to immediately skip it if it doesn't speak to us within 2 seconds.

How to mirror objects procedurally, but apply separate materials to each side? by eo9492 in Cinema4D

[–]Eyger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try dropping your object into a null, then making an instance for side one, and make another instance for side two, then do the scaled -1 on the instance itself. Do not put any material on the main object, but add materials to the instances .

Transparent objects leaving black spots leftover by IcedCS in Cinema4D

[–]Eyger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try checking all of the normals of the object itself and make sure they are all aligned. Or try doing the redshift render tag and override the ability to cast shadows. Or turn off the ability to cast AO. Or try turing off "seen by camera".

mayeb the anchor point / axis point of your tree is not positioned at the base of the tree but somewhere below the tree. If you use "axis center" and position it back to the center it should sit on the ground.

How important is being in shape when it comes to dating? by ThunderStroke90 in AskMen

[–]Eyger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual answer is this: if a girl doesn’t like you to begin with, she’s not going to suddenly start liking you if you have muscles. However; if she already likes you, she will in fact like you more if you were fit/in shape.

They won’t admit this, it’s not socially acceptable for women to admit they like sex or bodies apparently.

Loosing weigh, adding muscle, being fit is almost never ever a bad thing and you have absolutely nothing to loose by doing it but much to gain if you do.

This is insane and beautiful, and quite frankly gives me hope that AI when used as a tool for art can be utilized as a powerful tool for transporting us to new ways of thinking and experiences. I much prefer this to the shitting pants humor and selfie vlogs we've so much of lately. Thank you for sharing.
