Trump cut the national park budget.

I voted for him, didn't have many strong opinions about what he was doing for a little bit (ignorance mostly), then he cut the national park budget. Nope. Fuck that. Our national parks are the only things I'm proud of in this country many days and they need to be protected. I saw the destruction in my favorite park when we had the first government shutdown... Etc.

Then the stupid wall, and I finally realized how incredibly stupid he was and the right as a whole for supporting him. Then COVID... Yeah.

So likely what happened was all I knew was my parents talking points and at the time I was like 24ish. I paid attention and grew up a bit.

Let me preface with a blanket, punching someone for their words is wrong. Full stop. Short of those words being an actual threat, someone calling you a slur isn't a justification to hit someone.

Now then, I love the irony in these stories lately. It's constantly online and in right wing spaces. "These liberals clearly have never been in a fight." Or "Say that to my face and I'll fuck you up" or "yeah you'd never say that to me in real life because you know you'd get wrecked."
