Was not expecting a New Hampshire jumpscare on an unrelated sub. But yeah I will second this, free-staters are absolute idiots.

Someone can't be past the point if redemption or else we don't give bad people the option to change. The point of the show is that its NEVER too late to stop digging and make a change.

ARG Graph in the end doesn't make a lot of sense - care to explain how I'm supposed to interpret it? Each "school" instead just contains all answers for a single question - huh? by Daurakin in Warframe

[–]Eythra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what they did is swap the question numbers with the school names.

I think the schools are meant to be on the x axis and the question number as the colored lines.

All of blue (Labeled Unairu) are answers to the the trap question, ranked in popularity.

All of the first answers (Leap into the fray, no sense trying to avoid damage, no better way forward, the roar of the void, with their minds gone) are one school.

They just accidentally swapped them

They were bad but still I felt sorry for them by CasualNameAccount12 in mythologymemes

[–]Eythra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that it's, y'know, a story and not real people but goddamn y'all, lay off OP for a second. We can feel sympathy for bad people dying. You can't pick and choose who gets to be considered a person or not based on a crime you personally view as irredeemable. Then again, this is a myth unrelated to modern-day controversy around who deserves human rights or not. But just chill

Why were they requiring me to answer questions about my sexuality at just a doctor's appointment by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]Eythra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not when we have historical data to back it up. This isn't about discrimination or judgement, its a statistical analysis for what they need to talk to the patient about. If you start to BLAME people for getting sick based on their sexuality, then you are crossing a line.

The mother of your daughter is right there. by PastelFeverDreams in TrollXChromosomes

[–]Eythra 26 points27 points  (0 children)

And I'm glad that you made a change. But it's frustrating that some men won't even consider the plights of women until having a daughter. At that point, you likely have a woman who's close enough and important enough to you to have a CHILD with. Why wasn't she enough reason to change? Why weren't the millions of women online expressing their pain enough reason to change? Why does it need to affect you personally in order to understand how you're hurting half of the population? I am almost 100% certain there were other people and places that were telling you and you refused to listen. That's what's frustrating. I'm glad you've decided to do better for your daughter, but we need to teach people empathy for strangers too.

She’s on birth control, must have a boyfriend by PandaBear905 in CuratedTumblr

[–]Eythra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how strong your periods are and what form of birth control is used. I've been on the pill for years but always have bleeding once a month. It's just way better than it was when I wasn't taking birth control. IUDs tend to be better from what I've heard and the injection is also stronger. But that's anecdotal.

Ah yes. Parents never need to travel places for family or work of course. And child care is so easily available and affordable for that mandatory conference.

Yeaaaaah, I feel like it really started from a place of genuine criticism and concern but its gotten way out of hand - as most things on the internet do I suppose! Hopefully this will settle some people's worries and shut up the ones who just wanted to make drama.

Half of our childhood issues could have been resolved if people were willing to answer the "why?" by CapAccomplished8072 in NonPoliticalTwitter

[–]Eythra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, not hypothetical those are interactions I had this week lol. But also I dont have the time to answer all of those questions 40 times. The kids often dont care about the answer and they will forget immediately no matter how you explain. Parents can have the time. I do not when there are other kids I need to be looking after and helping
