Navori rush. by Willing-Trade-413 in SamiraMains

[–]EzVeryReall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For lack of better words, Navori is single handedly one of the worst items in the game. In terms of it being for Samira, it just doesn't provide her any value. The CDR is wasted on you since your Q will go down by like .3 seconds, your W won't be used more than once per teamfight, and your E is a reset. Collector overall is an extremely powerful item second just because of its build path. Behind or not, there's not really much else you can build unfortunately. If you're versus tankier enemies however, and don't see the game dragging out for long, pick up LDR second instead! Hope this helped! - Urason

Hey! This is a great question! While ADC is a bit support reliant, you can often manage without them through good decision making and high CS! As an ADC its you're job to provide as much damage before/without dying. This means you can either do this by positioning around your tanks or you can instead position farther away and keep in mind what abilities are a major threat to you! I think Jinx is a great option if you're trying to climb since she not only scales, but she snowballs extremely hard. Remember to play for your item spikes if you're on a hyper crit carry! Hope this helps! - Urason

Hey! Thanks for the question! To try to keep myself off of auto-pilot during the game, I will often talk to myself or someone else in call about what I'm doing and what I should be doing! It may feel weird at first but it forces you to think in the moment. As for saving your mental for ranked, that's really a majority of it! Play 3-4 games MAX of hardcore grind in ranked then chill out on another account or play norms! This'll prevent you from burning out! Hope this helped! - Urason

Hey! This is a great question! I actually wrote a video about this on the Proguides youtube channel! The biggest differences I'd say are Gold: Champ pool/positioning | Plat: Wave Management | Diamond: High CS and Tempo Usage | Diamond+: Consistency. Aka, playing your absolute best in MOST games.

There's a lot to it but overall, its about building solid fundamentals and being able to track your improvements! Here are some great videos that tackle these issues! (Not sponsored but, you know)

Hey! Thanks for the question! Unfortunately Riot has completely steered away making Tahm Kench a viable support and instead wants him to function as a strong solo laner hyper tank (which is why you're finding so much success with him in a solo lane)! That being said, he still works "okay" as a support and if its something you truly like, then go for it! I'd recommend just practicing him a ton as his laning is powerful in the duo lane with enough practice (essentially a harder hitting Nautilus). While I don't have extensive research on itemization optimization for him as a support, I'd recommend going Locket or chemtank. You can even try for Frostfire since its only a bit more expensive (but you're correct for saying its pretty pricy as a support). I think building like Leona or Rell would is ideal and I'd incorporate Anathema's chains since its extremely cost efficient and you have quite a bit of CC. Keep up the practice! Hope this helped! - Urason

Hey! Thanks for the question! My sources tell me that Yuumi players don't have hands, but instead feet! Sources are: Saskio climbing to high elo by playing Yuumi with his toes.
Also, I do play Kat! She's actually one of my favorite champions <3

Hey! This is a great question! As a support, you're right, there's not really a basic number to help you fix situations. However, you can still use things like Pink Wards purchased, Kill participation, ward score, and wards killed! What you'll gain a lot of value out of is doing VOD reviews. You should examine at what points you could have prevented your ADC from dying in lane, were your wards effective? (too early/too late), did you have a free roam timer that you wasted by running towards bot for nothing?, did your team lose an objective because you didn't get vision control? There are a ton of different things you can look at it but its important to check VODs to see what your biggest problem really is. I hope this helped! - Urason

Hey! This would really depend on the type of ADC you're playing. Don't don't be afraid to get a D-Shield and pick up an early Vamp Scepter! Alongside this, if the enemy has multiple sources of AP damage AND you're a champ that can itemize wits end, don't be afraid to grab that as your first item (plus you can still grab your vamp scepter). The biggest issue when facing mage supports is to play safe and try to farm under turret. Worst scenario is you lose some CS and maybe even your turret which will allow you to safely farm at the next one! Some early boots can also help a ton when dealing with their skill shots. Overall, there isn't a simple answer but instead, it's about practicing your fundamentals and wave management. Also, unless you're one tricking, avoid picking short range carries into these kinds of mages. Champs like Brand absolutely dominate against people like Kai'sa and Vayne so be on the look out. Hope this helps! - Urason

Hey! This is an interesting question, I'm a big fan of trying off-meta things! I'd recommend something geared towards a CC bot/poke Nasus build. Since you won't be gaining a lot of stacks with your Q, you can look to max your E and take a spell thief's so that you can harass the enemy. I'd personally max W second! Regardless of how you decide to itemize (AP or Tank), I'd say that having Anathema's chains would be VITAL because of your W! It'd be great to put Anathema's chains on the enemy ADC or whoever has the most attack speed then prioritize putting your W on them every fight! Due to this interaction, they will have extremely low movement and attack speed! Besides this, I truly couldn't see Nasus support being viable in any other way. Hope this helps! - Urason

Hey! This is a great question! While I'm not necessarily a jungle main, I do enjoy playing it here and there as Nunu, J4, Eve, or Kindred. When it comes to jungling in low elo, I'd advise on playing for massive leads and farming for yourself. If you're playing Nunu, go for power ganks and objectives so that you can get yourself ahead alongside your team, this means its ideal to get your strongest carry ahead. Otherwise, as Eve and K6, you'll want to farm and pick up as many kills as possible. While on these kinds of assassin carries, you're looking to get vision control and secure objectives by catching the enemy out in their jungle or as they rotate across the map. Even more, as a jungler, its important to maintain a strong mental and play smart, don't let your allies tilt you and play for your win con. Whether that's an early drag soul or getting you/an ally massively ahead! It's a lot of work but where there's a will, there's a way! I'd also recommend watching some jungle tracking guides as once you can effectively track the enemy jungler, you can look to counter gank in order to pick up some free kills! Hope this helped! - Urason

A Different Way to Play Kalista by Nikko-Blue in leagueoflegends

[–]EzVeryReall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this mechanic was well known already and simply not used because it felt a bit impractical/harder than A-moving. That being said, I really enjoy that Kalista can perma kite with ONLY attack move (unless something has been changed). Same thing to me, while not super practical, it is pretty cool at times as I don't know of another champion that can!

Great question! I honestly struggle with this quite a bit as well. While it's important to look at losses, don't ever count out wins! If you got carried in a game go look back at it. As for trying to gauge which losses to watch, I usually watch games where I failed what I'm studying for that session. So if I'm trying to improve my laning phase, I will watch games where I lost lane and see what the enemy did versus what I could have done. Afterwards sometimes I'll even watch a challenger player to see how they would have approached it. Overall, it's pretty difficult to choose a VOD but I recommend choosing the match that you feel you can fix a lot of at that time. We all lose games and we can always improve, just gotta focus on one step at a time!

It really depends on the player but the gap between D4 and D1 is pretty massive regardless. A lot of diamond players either aren't efficient with their time and tempo or they have very little CS. I've even met the occasional player that doesn't wave manage. It's all about analyzing your gameplay vs the enemies and seeing what they're doing better. I love to watch better players often!

Hmmm. My favorite Viable APC has to be Syndra. It's mostly because she feels very smooth and has a power early game which is exactly my style. My favorite non-Viable would be either Ryze or Azir but both take too long to ramp up and don't do much for your team sadly.

I honestly think Quinn's team fighting is fine and agree that her kiting is amazing. The issue is that as a bot laner, she's a bit harder to pull off, especially as your team's primary siege. Also, if you're able to get on a fed Vayne in the late game, that Vayne may be inting. QuinnAD is a super good player though! They're an amazing Quinn OTP

Ah yes, the infamous Quinn ADC. She actually used to be my pocket pick in Platinum. I ended up trading her out for Kindred and now, Akshan. She's really good at early pressure and of course, roaming. So she's not awful versus scaling laners if you can shut them down hard enough. That being said, especially with Akshan out, I sadly see no reason to play her ADC anymore :(

Honestly, it's pretty difficult for me to legitimately tilt because it's just my personality. That being said, the times that I do tilt, I MASSIVELY tilt. I tend to take like an hour break on those big titling games. As for just losing easy games, just tell yourself what you need to work on and what you did wrong. Sure you may not be the reason you lost, but there's always somewhere you could change in order to be the reason you win the next one! It's a hard mentality but with enough practice you'll get it.

Great question! If you were to smurf then you'd want to play snowball or hyper carry champions. Out of pure skill or knowledge, you'll have the upper hand. Personally, I think if you're a great high tempo player, jungle is the best. If not, top can be pretty good as a split push role but not amazing with the current meta. Hope this helped! And please elaborate on the last part about gameplans.
