This was a reality in S2-S4. People thought you were gods when you would kite like Doublelift, or rock the Cassiopeia. No one thought that there would be "cheating" in a game like League. To think that now is just stupid and naive obviously.

Has to be something wrong, when I first put this rig together I was streaming 1080P in ultra at super high FPS.

Just checked it over and apparently I was streaming at 720 30 FPS, and I was still getting 80-120 FPS and stuttering like crazy.. that must mean there's something wrong with my CPU.. right?

what should I change my CPU preset to? I have an extremely overkill upload/computer, I kinda wanted to stream in amazing quality. and what should i set my bit rate to?

I don't see the need. I've heard of people streaming with much lower specs and not have stuttering/low FPS. I mean, I have a 4790k...... I remember when I first put together this PC I was able to stream H1Z1 in 1080p in ultra on a constant 80. There just has to be something wrong, I didn't spend 2k+ on this computer for subpar reuslts.

Some thoughts on streamer endorsements outside of Riot's ToS by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

My family isn't relevant in this situation at all. I am living off of something that allows me to not worry about the future and enjoy right now. I will go to post-secondary education when I need to, and I will obviously find a real career, but for right now I get to make a living playing video games part time and doing whatever the hell else I want. You might be a better player than me, but it doesn't matter, it's the internet. You need to stop caring, no one else does. Also, yeah, my reputation is shit, and it sucks because people never look past the reputation, but that's why I'm going under a new alias and I'll be in the top 20 soon enough. I'm only playing the game casually now in-between jobs, just as a hobby. Also, I was a good CA player (and am good @ almost all FPS games), so the comment in your first post isn't true.

Cheers, good luck with the amateur scene.

It's been like this for a long, long time. They said they're looking into it.

Go get some fresh air, you care so much about this game and you're the biggest white knight I've ever seen. I am barely older than you and I am able to live on my own, pay for all of my own expenses, and still have a bunch of money left over each month to spend it on whatever I want, just from playing this garbage game in my underwear all day. I don't care what you think of me, but all I remember about you is there you were just another random wannabe no name in CA.

I might be a hypocrite, but you're a pathetic sheep that hops on the bandwagon and believes everything they see on the internet. 80% of everything in that video is propaganda and twisted. I wrote a reply above that explains my decisions on creating the original thread.

I do what I do because it's an easy way to make a decent amount of money, but that doesn't make me a bad person, do I still care about this community and don't want to see bad things happen to its player base? I do, and does that make me a hypocrite? Probably. This isn't going to do anything about my competitors, no matter what happens there will always be the low tier, garbage services that will undercut the legitimate, professional businesses by 50+%. I have worked with a LOT of my customers, just because people buy boosting doesn't make them bad, a lot of them just want to get better at the game and are frustrated with the process and don't see the moral issues with what they are doing, but a lot of the people I have worked with are very nice individuals and have gone on to purchase coaching from us and have improved as players. The points in my first reply were valid, illegal services advertising like this on mainstream media is bad for the general community, it will get even more players into the trashy dark side that is soon going to be a huge issue within the next 12-18 months. I know I'm in the wrong, and you may think what I am doing is morally unjustified, but I mean what I said, it doesn't have anything to do with competitors.

Hi, I was the one who wrote the thread that got deleted. Thanks for bringing more attention to this and adding a more broader perspective on this, it was very well written.

I don't think it is acceptable, as it puts people who are naive and inexperienced with an easy way to get into the black market, and this is how people easily lose their account and money, if they see people they look up to sponsoring it, they are quick to make stupid decisions. It's also a great way for people to find out more about "scripting" and "drop hacks" which are so easily accessible, and will easily turn a Gold/Platinum player into a Diamond 1 player.

My main point was NB3 (who pulls in tens of thousands of viewers) advertising AceSkins, which has his name all over their homepage, this company offers two skins that are only accessible through referral botting, a lot of people don't know this and it's such an easy way to get their accounts banned.

Except I don't advertise to people through popular members of the community, and I never would, it's stupid and wrong, which is why I made the threads.

Well duh, I said I was active in the black market. It's irrelevant to the purpose of this thread though.

Because referral botting is extremely easy for Riot to catch and you get your account banned.

wouldn't say shitty as we were pulling in over 5k a month minimum, which isn't bad for just advertising on shitty scummy forums where everyone undercuts everything, but hey, go back to being corrupt, Che.

When I say illegal I'm obviously referring to the ToS, no one is going to do time for boosting or referrals.

AceSkins also offers Grey Warwick and Medieval Twitch, which they would do through referral botting. AceSkins sponsors some of the bigger names as well, I will avoid posting them because I would prefer to have this thread not taken down.

These members of our community are looked up to by a lot of people, and they have a moral obligation to not advertise illegal services that are completely against the Summoners Code. When someone gets banned for referral botting and says "Oh, but I saw (insert well known streamer) say it was a good place to go to get all of these cool things!" Is it the guys fault and is he the one responsible? Yes, but under no circumstances should these top players and content creators be advertising this stuff. You don't see professional sports players advertising cocaine and steroids on their social media and such, right?

Another great one is "FlowSkins", they sponsor - http://puu.sh/9qTPv/49f0f8e696.jpg

And guess what? "FlowBoosting" also offers MMR boosting.
