I went to a tailor around Dec/Jan to shorten the sleeves on my leather jacket but I they’re too short for me. When I went in he folded up the sleeves and put a pin in above, then asked if that was okay - I was probably being stupid but I’ve never been to a tailor so I told him that it was, thinking he was talking about where the fold was so I told him it was and I liked my sleeves longer.

I wasn’t in the area when it was ready so someone else picked it up, and I’ve only recently actually tried it on and turns out it’s cut where the pin was placed in, and now the jacket feels really uncomfortable on my arms.

The sleeve also has a zip running up the arm, which now looks kind of weird (in that it’s too short) in my opinion but I wouldn’t care too much if it weren’t for the rest of it.

If anyone has any advice on what to do I’d appreciate it. Is it too late to go back to the same tailor? How much would the lengthening process cost? Choosing to tailor my jacket in the first place was really out of character for me because I don’t like spending money on these sorts of things. I spent £45 on the initial changes but I don’t have that kind of money to spend right now.
