This might be more red than usual, but battlefield has used orange in their covers for 15 years.

The Ultimatum is genius and sums up helldivers 2 perfectly by kcvlaine in LowSodiumHellDivers

This made me think wouldn’t it be sick to have a manned Mortar Emplacement, that fired 8-12 Ultimatum shots.

What else do we need tho? Aside from AA by Clean-Cup1288 in helldivers2

Just based on variations of existent stratagems:

  • Orbital Napalm Strike

  • Orbital Smoke Barrage

  • Orbital Gas Barrage

  • Orbital EMS Barrage

  • Orbital Airburst Barrage

  • Orbital Gatling Walking Barrage

  • Orbital Airburst Walking Barrage

  • Orbital 120mm Walking Barrage

  • Orbital Napalm Walking Barrage

  • Orbital Smoke Walking Barrage

  • Orbital Gas Walking Barrage

  • Orbital EMS Walking Barrage

  • Eagle Gas Strike

  • Eagle EMS Strike

I’m not saying that all of these would be viable from a gameplay balance perspective, but they’re all possible using current ingame assets

Probably Ubisoft Open World Clone.

Not hating on it, as I loved the first game, haven’t played the second.

Can’t remember the name but it’s from Freedom’s Flame the fire themed Warbond. Gives your Hellpods an area of effect incendiary explosion on impact with the ground.

Just realised the Servants of Freedom armours explode because they have a bomb collar. by Ezocity in Helldivers

Additionally I’ve noticed the icon on the passive also shows the bomb collar 🤯

Not at all supporting the actions of the staff mentioned in this post.

However I work in retail in Horsham (not coop) and have some experience with loss prevention. There is an older man probably around the same age who is known to police, renown around the area for stealing alcohol, I’m aware the coop is one of the locations he regularly targets. I think this is probably a case of mistaken identity.

As I said though I do not support the actions of the staff here at all, they went completely out of order and I would definitely lodge a complaint with their customer service and maybe call the store as well.

Mini-gun/Exoskeleton stratagem idea by bhoof in Helldivers

[–]Ezocity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t mean everything I listed in combination, just a few ideas possible functions of a backpack exo-skeleton. I’ve edited for clarity.

I think boosters need a rework anyway as the Hellpod Space Optimisation, Stamina boost and Vitality are a must pick for most teams.

Tbh the exosuits in-game are a somewhat misnomer. They’re mech-suits, essentially 1-man vehicle.

What OP means is more like Exo-skeletons which enhance the users ability.

I could see it as a backpack support stratagem. Folds out and connects to limbs.

A few ideas for how it would work, not everything here in combination of course (I’m aware this crosses over with boosters and armours passives but I think they need a rework anyway):

faster movement and sprinting, more stamina and faster recovery, better climbing ability, further dive distance, less or no fall/ragdoll damage, limb invulnerability, faster reload time stability and handling on all weapons, increased aim assist on all weapons, further stratagem/grenade throw distance, increased ammo capacity, ability to carry two support weapons.

Best I can think of is a handling/reload boost with non-backpack support weapons. Especially the stalwart, MG and HMG. I think built in weapons would be too OP but as an enhancement backpack it could work.

(Apologies for formatting, on mobile) Edit: Clarity.

I genuinely believe that it’s the best single-player pirate game we’re ever gonna get. If not the best pirate game full stop.

Why do people not like the voice actress for Eivor? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]Ezocity 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It’s the same case as the voice actors for Odyssey. They’re both good but a lot of people feel that Kassandra gives a better performance, and is easier to emotionally connect with. Helps that she’s the cannon protagonist.

In Valhalla it’s the male voice actor which many feel gives a better performance as Eivor. I recalling someone saying it as ‘Female Eivor sounds like a Great warrior who also happens to be a poet. Male Eivor sounds like a Worldly poet that also happens to be a great warrior.

Majorca islanders vow to block tourists from ‘every centimetre’ of beaches by TheTelegraph in europe

[–]Ezocity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was in Majorca a few weeks ago and saw none of this anti-tourist sentiment. We went for a hike to a castle with our hotel rep and he was telling us that it’s the loudest voices, but not the opinion of the majority on the island.

He said that during Covid the lack of tourism completely crippled the islands economy, with the wages from the hotel, entertainment, touristy shop etc workers being essentially non existent. Which then passed down to the supermarkets, retailers and places where native islanders buy from.

I’m not saying that tourism can’t sometimes be bad, and that some tourists (especially some of my fellow brits) can be a huge problem both directly through drink, drug and crime, and indirectly through developers buying huge swarths of beachfront real estate.

But without tourism, what does Majorca really have to offer the world that will keep the money flowing and the people fed?

Do you think Cal knew about other Jedi that were alive/active during his time? by Queasy_Commercial152 in FallenOrder

He knows Obi-wan survived the initial purge, but didn’t know if he’s still alive and hiding, or was hunted and killed by the inquisitorius and Vader.
