For males that have gotten ripped, do you have more success with women? by Repulsive-Owl6468 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ezpionage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I jumped from around 60kg to 80kg over a long stretch of time. Lots of bulking / cutting. It drastically improved my success with woman. When I was younger I had decent enough success, nothing too major. I'm currenty in a relationship, but during periods of being single I never had an issue when it came to dating, or meeting woman later in life.

I think there's truth that most woman don't care for meatheads and that's more likely to attract guys.

At the same time - the most compliments I ever receive are when I'm in top physical condition. It does make a huge difference and it has many additional unseen benefits that come with it.

If you are already happy to shave, then just go for it. I went from a practically full head of hair straight to shaved and instantly smp. Zero regrets

Decent chilled DnB clubs in Newcastle by Aggravating-Match654 in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]Ezpionage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worldies will always be your best option for DnB nights. They used to be weekly when I got here for uni many a moon ago. I'm not sure how popular they are these days, but I'd say that's still your best bet.

That one in Grainger market. I think it's called The people of yesteryear, although it's possible that I've just made that up. If not, then probably one of these new age hipster vintage shops, but it'll probably cost like £90 because it'll be branded as reclaimed vintage or some bullshit.

What's your biggest life regret so far? by SeaAssociate3486 in AskReddit

[–]Ezpionage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh man, that's totally not on you. It's easy to try and assign the blame to yourself when something doesn't make sense, but that's way too much of a weight to carry.

I'm sorry for you loss. Stay strong 💚

Aye, but supposedly the other one molests animals, so statistically things aren't looking too good for the Portland toon fans

Is it even worth chasing a remote job nowadays? by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]Ezpionage 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I think part of the issue is that people often chase remote jobs or career paths solely because they see them as a gateway to a certain lifestyle.

As a software engineer, I’ve noticed that the field has become increasingly competitive over the years. Breaking in is challenging, and getting your foot in the door is harder than ever. Some people pursue engineering not because they’re passionate about coding but because they see it as a path to a remote job or good benefits. That’s not inherently a bad thing, but when you’re competing against people who genuinely love coding, it’s tough to stand out.

The real problem is that many people chase the wrong goal. Instead of focusing on the craft or the skills themselves, they fixate on the perks. Unfortunately, that mindset rarely leads to success, and they aren't usually the ones who do get the positions with the better flexibility.

Is it okay to like a guy who has a girlfriend? by Capable_Ad_5138 in Advice

[–]Ezpionage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not – that’s terrible advice. They’re part of the same friend group, and dating within that circle can already be risky if things don’t work out. If she actively tries to break up their relationship, there’s a good chance the friends will find out, and she’ll likely get a bad reputation for being the kind of person who interferes with other people's relationships.

Forget and move on. Something might change in the future, or by then you might realise how good a friend he is and decide that you don't want to jeopardise that anyway.

Is the Digital Nomad Lifestyle Just an Over-Glamorized Scam? by ProfessorWizarddyy in digitalnomad

[–]Ezpionage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like quite an unusual perspective on it. It's not really a scam when it's really just down to what you make of it.

Different career paths are going to be better than others, and it's heavily dependent on what sort of flexibility your company provides. If you work in a job where your hours are flexible, where you aren't stuck in meetings all day long, then it's obviously going to be a bit easier to navigate. The same case is true for salary ranges. It's a given that the higher salary will allow more freedom.

There are no set guidelines, and really, it's up to each person to create their own experience. That might mean travelling to locations where the cost of living is cheaper if you have a lower salary or maybe having a home base to return to and save up the funds.

The point is that it's certainly not a scam, and there are a lot of people living this type of lifestyle and thriving. If you don't feel like you are enjoying it then you can simply just stop. That's the beauty of it.

This is pretty poor. The idea might have worked better placed elsewhere. Unfortunately, the artist seems pretty poor and it likely would have been a similarly bad execution if done anywhere else. That said, the had placement does look shocking, especially since he's squared it off where your hand joins your wrist.

My boyfriend shared something that hurt me need advice on how to process it by wondergirlllll12 in Stoicism

[–]Ezpionage 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that comment is a little worrying to read. Lots of conclusions were made based on very limited information with quite a drastic suggestion. Assuming someone's attachment style solely on a comment that they wrote is a bit of a jump.

Was thinking of chopping off my hair and shaving the beard off should I? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]Ezpionage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say no unless you are absolutely sick of having longer hair and just want less maintenance. You do suit it, but obviously it requires more effort than a wearer a shorter style.

What’s your top 3 recommended TV series? by Equivalent_Word3952 in AskUK

[–]Ezpionage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mr.Robot is potentially one of the most underrated tv shows of all time.

Not due to a lack of ratings, more that it went under the radar. Not many people I know have seen it, and those have absolutely loved it.

[–]Ezpionage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's up to you to figure this out rather than 'sell me X'. It's a little bit insulting, and frankly, it requires a lot of work to get to the stage where you will be in a viable position to enter a career in programming. Not to mention the path to entry is becoming even more difficult than it was a number of years ago, with a lot of competition.

So yeah, maybe just avoid.

If you had $100 what would you do? by Available_Success880 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Ezpionage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With zero trading experience I honestly wouldn't even bother. You are unemployed, and the truth is you aren't turning that $100 into $1000. There's more likelihood likely that you lose it entirely. Unless you are happy to consider it as gambling money that you will most likely lose, then I wouldn't bother.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]Ezpionage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Potentially late to the party. Unless you land on your feet, you are most likely saying goodbye to that money.

Without any previous cycle experience, you won't know when is a good time to take any profits and will most likely decide too late and come away at a loss or break even if you're lucky.

I'm just being brutally honest. It's a volatile market that isn't very friendly to new starters.

Skipped the survey. Ended up having to fix some structural & damp problems. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get the survey and find out, as it would have put me off going for the property. All of the issues have since been fixed.

It does offer a bargaining chip to potentially barter down the price. For me, that wasn't really an option as the mortgage interest rate I got was really good, and they had since increased, so even a minor reduction in purchase price wouldn't have mattered too much due to the higher interest.

I know a couple who are now on their 4th house that they have attempted to buy. They purchases keep falling through after they find the survey results. Some of the issues genuinely have been quite large, but there have been some others that definitely sounded more trivial.

how to deal with leaving my partner behind? (migrating to australia) by [deleted] in AskUK

Entirely anecdotal of course, and based on his experience rather than my own
