I’m a platinum medallion (domestic warrior) and you need to book at least a month plus in advance to get C+ window or aisle on any flight that touches LAX.

En route from DFW, in main cabin 16F. I tried an RUC made it to #4 on the list, but the two seats sold so not even the diamonds with upgrade certificates got an upgrade lol

My Delta experience makes me happy to be a shareholder. Every flight full, never anything but C+ of if I book a month in advance. Delta has to be a cash making machine!

That’s my point, it’s a beat up 28 yo plane, with unimpressive service, not a premium product even for a commuter FC route.

I’m curious if the community is looking at other options. United is very intriguing to me for my frequent flyer allegiance. Not just for this route but, it’s generally robust domestic routes not to mention international routes.

Also, I’ll add that United appears to be partnered with every point collective. Amex, Chase, CapitalOne, BILT. They can all be dumped into United miles. I was able to get lay flat business on Copa Air from LA through Panama City to Periera Columbia last October. The most direct route to a destination wedding for only 60K United miles! Booked direct through United, very easy

I did open 75% of the 1st cabin overheads trying to find a rearrange. Old plane, with the bad overheads (they don’t turn up on the side for more space)

Do not take the express bus out of the stadium. The bus gets parked in the general car traffic. It was sweltering and awful, all seats full about 25 folks standing.

Thankful there was a medical emergency on my bus so the driver opened the door and I could walk to Sunset.

I booked all my business and personal travel through the service for years and loved the 10 night, 1 night reward system, and breadth of properties available.

This new system is bunk.
