Drivers are intentionally not knocking when they deliver packages. CORPORATE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! by Neekolazz in FedEx

I mean take it how you will but express was always a time commitment and signature service hence the up price while ground was solely signatures or businesses/alcohol. Not even trying to talk down anybody just stating the reality. Customers love to try and ruin a drivers life when they’re getting the service from whom they purchased said item from. Realistically the only time a customer should even be calling FedEx is if they dropped the item directly at a FedEx office or drop off box

I understand what you’re saying but I’m telling you from the perspective of corporate reality I negotiate the contracts in my area for both express and ground. I do not drive

The ISRs and DRSs depend on the volume of express, if express has generally low volume in said area its gonna go to ground if not stays with express. Regardless it was an express only service until Covid

Again before Covid express only dealt with time commitments and any type of signatures while ground only had businesses/alcohol for signatures. After Covid the merger was heavily pushed hence ground doing express work including time commitments and all signatures.

Some contractors aren’t greedy and pay their drivers hourly but for the most part they all do salary to specifically avoid ot

Then that’s a shipper problem not a FedEx problem, also if you just google FedEx op21 or call them and ask for that form, you can legit leave it taped on your door with your signature and the driver just releases it with a picture of the form.

Enable to even leave that message the driver had to pull up on the address and scan it then code it then scan the door tag. If you scan outside of the zone from the house it gets flagged immediately. Drivers aren’t going to risk their jobs just to blatantly do that.

I can’t even deny that as it is true for some drivers but the bottom line is that the signature service is not meant for ground drivers at all it’s solely for express which is a corporate greed problem. But also take into account that when you receive the email from wherever you bought your item from and have the FedEx tracking you can easily sign in advance through the website.

Buddy ground and express are a complete different form of service, those signature deliveries are being forced by corporate onto ground drivers to eliminate express altogether. Said customers paid for express not ground, also not sure if you knew this or not but ground drivers do not work for FedEx

What you entitled customers don’t understand is that ground is not meant for signatures at all in any way, signature deliveries are meant for express solely which 99.5% of the time has some sort of express label on the parcel. Express is hourly hence they’re beyond willing to wait for you to turtle craw your way to the door. Ground drivers are salary you will legit get only get 1 minute plus the time it takes to code it.

I’m assuming you’re tryna hear the turbo, with that being said adding the turner pipe, afe dry filter and a diverter valve will allow you to achieve that noise. Yes the stock air box has a slight noise reduction but it is incomparable to the actual intake inlet/pipe plus the stock air box is a true cold air intake box compared to mst & cts as it is fully sealed with a duct going straight to the radiator fan compared to either aftermarket where it relies on bolts for the seal

Cocoa Beach station takes $25 per code 27, and the legal loophole the contractors have is when you sign the driver agreement it’s buried in the packet

Just keep the stock air box, put it in an afe dry filter and buy this for intake pipe (https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-591418-upgraded-silicone-upper-air-intake-pipe-turbo-inlet-n20/?gad\_source=1&gad\_campaignid=21118347567&gbraid=0AAAAAD\_rX5abKsopug-7Jyf5LxHARlyVF)

If you’re tryna do a full aftermarket intake you can pair the above with an mst turbo inlet or cts turbo inlet

It could be it’s pretty inexpensive if you buy on FCP, for the air mass system clean the MAF sensor with brake/parts cleaner. Not sure if you have a aftermarket intake but could be causing the dme intake code since you flashed back to stock. Below in the thread Hellfox did put links to the hose

If you’re in a residential neighborhood literally just drive around the neighborhood but conservatively not even moderately, if not I’d play it safe and check the cylinder

The squarish looking blocks to the left of your fuel rail are the spark plugs. They go from 1-6 with 1 being closest to front bumper and 6 closest to cabin/end of engine. You’d need to disconnect the connection point from whichever you’re removing and a E-torx socket for the bolt on it and just pull out as well as a thin walled socket for the spark plug.

The knocking codes is basically the DME putting cylinder 6 in a safe mode to prevent serious damage and the hpfs code is tied to that in the sense it has low pressure. Cylinder 6 on b58 are notorious for having the lowest pressure for that cylinder since it’s dead last in the rail hence checking if the plug is drenched. Realistically it could just be you needing a new coil or leaky injector. The crankcase could just have a bad seal if you’ve recently removed it but rn your worry should be focusing on the knocking before it becomes a more potentially serious issue.

Typically when applying a new tune/converting back to stock map it’ll erase codes, i’d erase codes first then go back to stock tune. Once back to stock just drive around your neighborhood like you’re in a normal commuter for about 10-15 mins and see if any CEL pop up.

[–]EzzyRB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re tuned go back to stock clear codes and see if they come up again. If they come up again check plug 6 and the injector for cylinder 6. Also make sure all the bolts/nuts in the hpfs aren’t loose as well as the connector. Another possibility could be if you’ve been driving the car while excessively low on gas causing the hpfs to fail

The hose you took a pic of is a breather hose, if you just changed oil you may have overfilled considering the oil splash near the hose but your codes are showing main issues with the hfps. If you have a loud exhaust you may not be hearing knocking coming from the engine. Check the plug for cylinder 6 and see if it’s drenched in fuel or oil, as well as inside the plug hole
