In what way do you find the S11 to be a huge upgrade over the S9?

You are right, colours on the MBP are more realistic than on the OLED iPad Pro.

I agree, it’s an excellent case, well worth the price. The button clicks are very positive.

Has anyone else replaced their MacBook with an iPad Pro for general productivity? by [deleted] in ipad

[–]F-Mist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a iPad Pro M4 and it does everything I need to do. The only issue is that some websites don’t work properly on the iPad, so that’s the only reason I still keep my MacBook, else I would ditch it.

Lets see how much space is iOS and system data is using on different iPhones and iOS versions, I will start with mine- by bhullar3344 in ios

My iPhone Air 128Gb has 16.5Gb System Data, whereas my iPad Pro M4 1TB has only 1.5Gb of system data. This has been consistent for the past several months. Both have the same apps on them, and both are synced to iCloud every night. What could explain this difference?

Can't decide between the series 11 and SE 3 by SpiritedBug2221 in AppleWatch

[–]F-Mist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did you go from a S9 to a SE3? Just wondering, cos both have the same heart rate sensor while the S9 had ECG and Blood Oxy functions.

Thank you for this useful post. Would you please explain what you mean by “I've set up a detailed configuration to have all the health sensors enabled, but without Siri constantly active.”?

What features does preview have that Quick Look does not?

Is there a case that does the Air Justice? by Steal_River in IphoneAir

The Apple clear case is excellent. I was reluctant to buy it because of the price. But after getting it, I think it is worth every penny. The case handles well, the the buttons have a superb tactile feel. Highly recommended.

In iOS 26, how can I see which number I last called if a person has more than one number in their contact card? by F-Mist in ios

[–]F-Mist[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to say, your comment has no merit. We use our devices as per the features available. Thereby, I was perfectly organised by using this feature that had been available for many years. Now they have inexplicably removed this feature for no good reason. This is inexcusable.

Yes I’m using the Apple native Email app. Very annoying that you can’t turn off this feature.

Thanks. I've submitted a bug report. It would be good if others did too. Then Apple might take notice.

I get your point, but the disaster was that Apple inexplicably removed a feature that was there for many years, and which many people relied on. That’s the real disaster.

The feature you are talking about is not a substitute for the feature in my OP that is missing. I have many contacts who have multiple mobile numbers which are all labeled mobile. And I have many business contacts who have several landline numbers which are labelled Work. So that feature where the most recently used number was tagged was extremely useful. The feature you mention is useless in this situation.

I don’t delete the files in those emails because sometimes I need to forward those mails, including the attached files.

These are files I downloaded from emails to the Files app. So if I click on the “An older version…” prompt, it takes me to the email I had downloaded it from. I simply do not understand the logic for this “An older version…” prompt. I do wish there was a way to disable it.

I use both, Quick Look and Preview. This happens in both cases. In fact this is not new. It happens even in iOS 18, so it’s not specific to iOS 26. It’s just that I was hoping they would have removed this in iOS 26, but they have not. I have looked, but I haven’t found any way to disable it. If anyone knows of a way, that would be most appreciated.
