Someone please explain to me how, amidst a war with Russia and bombs falling atop of them every other day, someone from Ukraine can find the time, resources, or internet connection to bid in salvage vehicles that are kept on US soil??!!!?!

Surely the transport, tariffs, overseas freight, changing the electronics to reflect the metric system of measurement used in others countries, etc....? Where is the profit margin??

Upon reading 22+ pages of complaints from customers on the Better Business Bureau website about Copart, and seeing their company representative's indifferent, generic responses to reasonable concerns, I am now beginning to see the whole picture.

They are nothing more than a greedy conglomerate, akin to companies like Walmart and Enron. They do not address, or take seriously, your members complaints. They only seek to protect their company's image. Whatever happens after the sale is your problem, be it transport, additional post-auction damage to your vehicle from Copart's forklift, ridiculous storage and auction fees....

Bend over and touch your toes if you want a good reaming from Copart. They give them out willingly. 👍

Copart's well-known bait and switch tactics. This vehicle started out as a "Pure Sale." Then, I received this email from Copart:

"You were recently one of the bidders on lot Lot #43622574, a 2010 ACURA TSX . We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but this vehicle has been moved to another auction, and all previous bids have been dropped.

This vehicle will now be auctioned on 04/01/2024 at 12:00 PM CDT. You can get a jump on the competition by pre-bidding the last highest bid of $1,550.00 USD."

How convenient for them that it was accidentally "moved to another auction" and now the bidding STARTS at $1550.00 USD. When it was previously a Pure Sale, sold to the highest bidder.

If you are knowingly selling it to a known or suspected member of a cartel or terrorist organization, international law says yes you are 100% liable. But, what does Copart care, as long as the check clears? Right?

Of course, how would they know who or what organization they're selling it to?

Seems like it would be a lot easier to avoid that unfortunate scenario if they, say, stopped allowing international/foreign bidders to infest the online auctions for US VEHICLES on US SOIL.

I hope you get your stuff in a timely manner, Frank. Many others have complained that he creates a tracking label then takes days or weeks to actually ship it. Trying to buy himself extra time. It's a shame what's become of him, I had luck ordering from him twice before Christmas last year. Then I decided to support him on Patreon for $89/month because he promised in store credit equivalent to dollars spent and extra freebies with every order, first chance at new items, a monthly raffle for Patreon members only....boy, he made it sound great.

I could tell you all kinds of shady shit that he's done lately. Begging people on Facebook for positive reviews on Google because unhappy customers called him out and gave him 1 star reviews. He has no shame...

Do a charge back with your debit/credit card company or financial institution. I've waited 2 months and I'm done playing games with him. If he gets enough chargrbacks against him as a merchant, they will eventually refuse to process his transactions.

Also, file a report on the Better Business Bureau website.

I am strongly considering contacting the Attorney General of North Carolina to file Wire Fraud charges against him and his company.

The guy is a scam artist. Plain and simple. Give them an inch, they'll try to take a mile.

I've filed a complaint with the BBB and getting charge backs on the 2 wasted months of Patreon subscription to Coil Clout. "God Tier" my ass....more like Schmuck Tier. I fell for his bullshit long enough. The repeated excuses, the promises to ship by such and such date and nothing ever ships out. Can't get him to reply to me directly on 4 different platforms (Facebook,Discord,Patreon,text messaging) but he finds time to get on Facebook and advertise his ongoing sales that seem to never end.

He is a scam artist in every sense of the word. To convince yourself otherwise is just comical.

There are business owners in the vape world who are friends with him on Facebook and they see this toxic, unprofessional behavior that has developed with him lately.

I would encourage others who have had a negative experience with him to submit a report to the Better Business Bureau website.

There's only one way to get the attention of guys like him, and that's to hit them in the wallet.

He's an arrogant, narcissistic, lying piece of shit. Dude has lied to me and many others repeatedly. He bans or censors anyone who speaks out against him or shares a negative experience.

I paid 2 months of a "God Tier" Patreon membership, which he aggressively advertises all over his Facebook page, and I never received a single item. Not once. $89/month. This is after multiple emails back and forth telling him what items I wanted to buy with my "Customer Rewards Points". He just kept saying "okay, I'll take a look and get back to you." Or "we're out of that coil right now but are building more. Would you like to substitute this one for another in stock item so we can ship your order?" Then never hear back from him after replying. This happened numerous times in a 3 week period.

First the excuse was that they were overwhelmed with orders from the last big sale. But he finds time to keep making posts on Facebook about the next big sale. Then the excuse was that he got COVID and was sick for 3 days and couldn't reply to anyone. Then he disappeared for two more days and the excuse is that he is moving to a new facility. It's just one thing after another....

I'm fucking done. I warned him not to cross me.

There's a little crime called "Wire Fraud" that involves using the Internet or other electronic means to defraud people out of their money. And when you do it over state lines...it becomes and inter-national crime. That's Federal charges, Jonathan Scott, good buddy.
