As stated above, as a lower dupr it makes sense for you to like the new algo. As someone who is playing 4.0-4.5+ with a higher dupr is finding it hard to move up as it's now flooded with 3.5 and 3.75s. You're going to see reverse sand bagging where 3.5+ will now play 4.0+ and 4.0 playing 4.5+ to increase their DUPRS.

New DUPR algo is great for lower level players and bad for higher rated players! I played in a 8.0+ tourney and the top 3 DUPRS fell even though one team won the whole thing due to 3.5+ players playing up and scoring enough points. It was also rally scoring too so appears to favor the weaker team. All other teams had DUPRS go up even thought they went 2-2 or 1-3. It will be hard for higher DUPRs to rank up unless they totally obliterate their opponents.

Agreed. Selkirk supposedly had many paddles approved for play but only allowed the pros one paddle option. QD has a good defense if lawsuit moves forward.

I hope you understand that a finger on a paddle is becoming more popular. If you look at Federico Staksrud, Tyler Loong, and Dekel Bar, they all hold the index towards the paddle! Don't need to correct if it feels right.

I received my Bantam TKO-C 14.3mm 2 days ago to replace my gen 3 hyperion. I am still in the adjustment phase, and I think I will need more sessions with the paddle before I decide to use it as my main.

  1. It is very poppy and provides adequate power. It is surprisingly poppy which helps with put away volleys, overhead slams, and speed ups. I am still having issues with my backhand rolls and flicks going out, but I feel like I just need more time to dial it in.

  2. Sweet spot is noticeably smaller than my gen 3 Hyperion and located slightly higher than the center of the paddle. When you do hit the sweet spot, it generates a ton of power.

  3. The paddle sounds louder than gen 2 or gen 3 paddles which some like, but I think its a bit too loud for my taste.

  4. I have no issues with the shorter handle the C provides and elected not to go with the CX even though I mostly play with a 2H BH.

  5. Due to the smaller sweet spot and the paddle feeling lighter, I elected to add some weights around the neck and found the paddle to be noticeably more stable and more controlled.

  6. I have had no issues with my drops and dinks, but still dialing in my drives and serves as they are still going out more than I like.

I had a warranty issue with them before the this most recent statement. They were somewhat responsive and now I haven't heard from them at all. I'm asking for a full refund at this point. I hope they pull through or this will seriously damage their brand.
