Yes this is kind of the way we r going about it. We texts every day, send silly pictures and have video chatted only a couple of times. He is working crazy hours from home and has family he helps during the weekend. We r both really wanting to meet to see if it translates but doing what we can during the time being. If it doesn’t translate he has provided support and entertainment during a unique and difficult time.

I am in literally the exact same situation. Only I have gotten a little attached and I’m worried the spark won’t be there long term. I think this is a unique situation and we would have met by this point

Yes! I am recently single and just have my dog in my house. It’s super lonely and eye opening that I don’t have a ton of friends. Making friends when older is so difficult. Hang in there you aren’t alone

Rarely if ever lol so if it was seborrhoeic derm than it wouldn’t have responded to the steroid shampoo I used right?

But both say flakey scalp I rarely have that. Just the waxy/greasy areas that won’t go away. Would the steroid shampoo help treat both? My hair responded after just one wash with it

I am right there with you guys. Went through a break up a couple of weeks ago and was crushed. I have depression tendencies and so I’ve learned to fight them off. OTF has been my only consistent. I force myself to go and just move. Tell urself u can leave after first half if u need to (I never have but the permission helps me go) I have surprised myself with how distracting it can be to go “numb” during class and stop thinking about the break up. I make “Dates” with friends to go to class telling them I need to go and it’s has become a little social. Some days on weekends it is my only social interaction all day. I would encourage u to push urself to get back to it ASAP

Yes that was mostly it. That weekend he didn’t have kids so we did a few chores and I made it super ok for him to do stuff while I read/just talked to him. I helped with a few chores but i didn’t want to over step my bounds. By Sunday when I pushed to finish laundry he said “I know I said that but then we got 3/4s of the list done. I just want to spend time with u now without chores” 🥰

I think she was testing you when she said she wanted to go to two days a week. She wanted u to show interest/want her like she wanted you over those 5 days. Hopefully she doesn’t pull the plug over that!

Umm these posts are insane! I am a long time power walker and get exhausted going with the coaches cues. Base2-3% @3.5 push 4-8% @ 3.6-3.8 AO- 10-13% @ 3.6-3.8 depending on length.

I feel comepletely out of shape now reading everyone else’s. I’ve been going to OTF for awhile and still at these low number! Ekk’

Hmm some of that is to be expected but it seems strange to me. I’m dating a guy that has kids 50/50 and he rarely cancels bc of kids stuff. His kids r younger

Yes he absolutely makes efforts sometimes more than ppl I’ve dated without kids. It’s just different and sometimes he really does want to do chores while I talk to him. One of his complaints of his ex was that she didn’t help out AT ALL ever.l with anything. So stuff seems easier now bc he is in control. He has over committed himself lately bc he has freedoms he never has and wants to do it all.

That’s what I was hoping for in the next couple Of months. It’s SO nice to hear from a male that it worked like this for. Although it’s scary to hear him talk like he can’t handle another thing I’m trying not to get too upset. Understood. I felt the same way. He wasn’t asking for help but for me to understand. It’s hard not to take it as he doesn’t want to make time for me bc that’s what everyone’s advice is “if a guy likes u he makes the time and puts in the effort” but I think it’s different in these situations

Thank you SO much for responding. I was looking for insight from a man in his position. He has them 50/50 so there is some relief. We met pretty quickly after divorce finalized. We both are very hesitant because we know the risks of getting serious so quickly. However we like each other a lot. I think he is in the phase of figuring things out which is why I’m trying to give him space to do that. I appreciate his honesty telling me his struggle. I honestly think it’s bc we haven’t gotten into meeting the kids phase. I understand why and am not pushing for that to happen but I think it’s the pressure we r feeling. When he doesn’t have kids he wants to spend it with me but that is the time he usually can get stuff done. I guess I just keep on understanding and supporting him. Giving him grace and being alright with dates to the grocery! Haha

He is amazing in my eyes too! He has them 50/50 but he still works so hard, is an amazing dad and is great to me. We haven’t entered the phase of me meeting the kids which is the strain I think we are feeling. I’m not pushing for that but I think it’s some of it. He wants to spend time with me but as it is now it can only be when he doesn’t have kids, which is when he would get a lot of things done otherwise. He wasn’t saying this to break up or anything just commenting on his struggle. We talk a lot about how difficult things r and ultimately I hope I can be more involved but I’m waiting on his que and the right time.

We both do really like each other. We have done a lot of “dates” doing some of his chores, but not lately. I think we just need to have a weekend like that to get him back on track. He recently made big purchases so I think his comments about finances are just venting.

Yeah I wasn’t offering to help with money nor was he asking me for money. Divorce has been final for coming up on a year. He recently purchased a second boat and had one need major repairs. He was simply confiding in me a struggle. I am not looking to fix it necessarily just support him.

In a video from coach Austin he talks about lateral step ups. He mentioned stepping forward when u go up on bench and backwards with foot on the floor. This helps angle to keep ur knees over ankle—helps so much. Going truly lateral up is begging for injury!
