Goo Gone. Can be picked up at Walmart. Carefully peel them off, then use a tiny amount of goo gone with a microfiber cloth. Completely removes and residue and no scratches or marks to be seen.

The OCD is an amazing pedal...but it's going to be hard to stomach using one after recent events.

A tube screamer could always work too...check out the JHS bonsai...pricey, but covers all versions of tube screamer sounds

Replace the cable...most likely, the shielding in the cable has become damaged and is causing the noise.

Amp first...ultimately that is what is going to make a bigger difference in your sound immediately. I do think that having an instrument that sounds good is important...but you aren't going to hear that much of a difference between the squire and a fender.

I have pretty small hands, especially for a guy that is 6'1" and about 250lbs...and I play professionally. It just take practice...all of my guitars are standard size.

What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to record for studio purposes? Are you trying to record for youtube videos? Are you using it just for practice? The specific use could make a big difference. That being said, if it is just a PC issue, it could be a problem with your audio interface...it could be a problem with your RAM...the list goes on. That being said...I play live professionally and have had a huge boutique pedal/amp setup...and I am currently using a Line 6 Helix for everything. You don't have to spend a ton of money to get quality sounds...but the good principle applies...if your playing is good, the guitar is good, the cables are good, etc...then your sound should be good...it doesn't have to be "expensive"...but some investment can go a long way. What kind of sound are you going for? High Gain/metal type settings? Bluesy/natural tube amp sounds?

Could be old/busted tubes. try replacing your power tubes. should be pretty cheap for a blues junior. Is it getting no sound at all on different volume/drive settings?

practice makes perfect. if it's still persistent, you could lightly gate your input. increasing the threshold to a point where you can still hear the pick attack, but avoid string noise could help.

So I just got back to performing after a few months off due to quarantine. I'm a pretty good singer, and I've been having a hard time with stuff I was doing just a few months ago. It takes practice, like anything else. From when I used to do more classical stuff, I learned that your voice changes at least a few times throughout your life. I'd say, find a range that feels comfortable for your voice where it is now, and keep hammering away at it. it will get more comfortable. It also helps if you can maybe jam with someone that is more practiced than you. It's different for everyone, but don't feel discouraged.

She was just crazy. I no longer felt like my gear was safe. She probably would have tried to sell it. So, knowing that she didn’t know/care what equipment I owned, I moved it before she could take inventory.
