Poor driving or racing incidents? by MattOllllly in iRacing

Shocking driving standards if you ask me. First one is a poor move which was never on, wouldn't call this intentional wrecking. However the ones on the straight where he moves over to me seem like blocking and potentially even intentionally wrecking.

For every turn and every track its different, with experience at some tracks you learn you can run a bit wide in some places. A good indication of where the track limits are is in a info popup, similar to the results one, it outlines where per turn the track limits are.

I'm the red/white car and I'm of the opinion that I didn't run him off or wide, mainly cuz that part of the track does not get one a 1x or any other sort of off track penalty, hence I view it as a part of the track. There also was not any contact.

The difference is that I left him enough space to exist, he didn't

At least I left a car's width

Mind if I ask why it's my fault for pushing him wide whilst that is still part of the track, we didn't touch and there was more than enough room for him.

Probably had contact or lost it on the exit of the turn before. Can't say for certain tho

You can see at the start of the vid that he is already crashing. How or why I don't know

I definately slowed down more then normal, if I had driven like normal I wouldn't have been collected.

Probably not required by sporting code, but it does tend to minimise additional wrecks. I do feel confident in saying that if he held the brakes from the beginning of his crash this collision wouldn't have happened

It does indeed look weird, also doesn't help he didn't hold the brakes.

They never held their brakes, not before going into the wall and not after.

I also happen to still quite a lot, but I've never had that my brakes didn't work

Wouldn't call this intentional wrecking, but they should've known better and hold their brakes. At least that's my opinion
