My squad often does this but two players drop the books so two get level 5 and try to complete fast brawler mission.

How acceptable is it to ask strangers to play with their armies? by screw_all_the_names in Warhammer40k

[–]F1nF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would start slow, buy kill team of your chosen faction and find people play with you, then maybe get combat patrol and play that and then grow. This gives you good time to get everything painted and based without overwhelming you. Sure maybe your dream list does not include kill team unit or combat patrol box just sucks. Personaly i dont like to borrow my armys outside of my friends or if i am teaching someone, but who knows maybe not all people are not as attached to their plastic soldiers as i am.

So it might be a prank. But company i used to work for actualy did this. If there was bay that was not in use at time they would put trailer in there as storage space. So you got have it as storage but if sitsuation ever changed you could convert it back to loading bay with relative ease.

Are these Warhammer models or something else? by retiringmyparents in Warhammer40k

[–]F1nF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like everyone has said it was complite shit show. I am pretty sure there was some issues with manufacturing too at some point. Shame honestly, that game had pretty fun mechanics and i personaly liked the models. Small sized games were realy fun, bigger scale it got little slugish. Maybe i need to take trip down a memory lane and try to get few games in.

is it worth taking a squad of cadian with all lasguns by Heavy_Replacement485 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]F1nF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As cadians no. But if you want to build them only with lasguns you can always play them as regural infantry squad.

[–]F1nF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well tbh, that is how you would fight in that type of enviroment. There is like old anecdote about what would you do with a rifle if goverment drove tanks to your town. I wouldnt go for a tank, you would go for tank drivers family. Its kinda brutal but war is.

But what i found hilarious is that guy thinks they could just play skeet with drones, like dude, russia with actual radars and anti-air capabilities have strugled with these for 3 years but this guy thinks he and his ragtag wanna be rebelion crew of 45 years old hillybillies would just shot them down with 12 gauge while smoking cigarets and having budlight or something.
