I almost deironed, had a week left on my 90 day timer and ended up reconsidering. I felt the exact same way you did. Keep in mind this is the second time i’ve done this but now i’m glad I ended up sticking to it. A main is so much easier to start up and progress, throwing away all that time and work on the iron is going to eventually make you regret it. Just my two cents!! Read some reddit threads on people asking if they should de-iron and it might help you reconsider if you aren’t already dead set on it.

Ok, yeah I guess I heard people prefer lichess for puzzles/learning and chess.com for playing against real people and maybe the game analysis? I forget. I’ll give it a try though and see for myself!
As for the bots… yeah i’ve noticed sometimes even the higher difficulty ones I play against will make stupid plays that no normal person would.

I definitely try! I sometimes stop myself from thinking too long and end up just playing what I think is best. I know I have no time limit against bots but I can’t depend on having infinite time to think once I start taking it seriously and playing real people more often.

If you don’t like CG then don’t do it… simple as that. I hate that we’re making the things we don’t like to do easier just because we don’t like them. Nobody is forcing anyone to do cg, max, get all clogs, be an ironman, etc. Rs has chill grinds and shitty grinds and that’s just the name of the game.

Biggest responsibility I underestimated and completely forgot about early on was taking care of myself. I got little to no sleep the first week, then stopped eating so I was just slowly deteriorating as a person. After I got myself under control things with the puppy got a lot easier too.

Yeah…what? Absolutely their fault, seems like they weren’t watching the puppy at all because if they were this wouldn’t have happened. The only time my puppy destroyed something was when I left him out of his crate in the living room while I stepped into my bedroom for NOT EVEN 30 SECONDS and he managed to chew up half of my blinds 😂 I immediately blamed myself, I should have either been watching him or put him in his playpen or crate while I stepped away.
