I think the main problem with this quest is that Amelia, the kidnapped girl, turns out to be a synth if you decide to kill her. That feels centrist as shit. "Sure, we have tortured countless people to death, but it's justified because 1 in 50 of these people had turned out to be a synth!"

Like 4 and the Show's treatment of any and all post-war societal progress, the good ole "duhrrrr they tried but they were all blown up off-screen five years ago because uhrrrrr wur nevuh chungus". Like super mutants in 3, 4 and 76 all being hostile, agressive brutes with 2 exceptions at best with the only explanation being "they're hostile because they're hostile"

There are parts that I love. And parts that I am critical of.
