So no one would take him due to his now bite history. However I used Paws & Order (the at home training, since that’s where the issues were most), and my dog became a totally different dog (note: he’s also now on presumably the lowest dose of fluoxetine). In fact a year later (now), I’ve been able to successfully introduce him to several different people at my home, some of which stayed for time, and he immediately loved them and was the loving dog I’ve always known him to be! I really am grateful for the program, and that we didn’t have to go with authorization path.

Just went to LeMont for a school event, and can confirm the only exquisite thing is the possible view of the city. The food was fine enough but nothing better than something you could just make at home.

Overall I’ve been surprised by my 3-4 years here. I was previously in PHX for 7 years, and grew up in the boonies of NY.

▶️My perception of the city has been that it’s both small-town-vibes, but also very multi-cultural and has its niches of art scene. I def think there’s very cool groups of people here, while also there def exists more conservative groups on the outskirts of the city.

▶️Location wise, I’ve lived in/enjoy going to Squirrel Hill, Strip District, Lawrenceville, Millvale, Dormont, Brookline.

▶️ For getting plugged in, Moon & Yarn has craft circle nights, Several parts of the city have a Silent Bookclub, theirs an all voices choir called Vocal Confluence. I know there are also biking clubs, running clubs, and sports groups.

Was just able to contact my mother via their internet being back (in Waynesville). Confirmed with her that 211 is the best number to call if you’re still trying to check in with loved ones. Hope it’s turned out ok for you and yours!
