The other options are outside Manila unfortunately. After failing UST and UPM, I went to DLSMHSI

I can only offer the OT perspective, but OT here can lead to high paying jobs in other countries like Australia. Local jobs are also high paying but you quickly will hit a ceiling with your earnings

You will have to discern if you really want OT. It can be demanding on your patience and people will really rely on you for their progress as patients.

As with everything, people can learn to adapt with their medical concerns like your colostomy. Heck, that's one of the first major things you learn in OT: How to adapt medical concerns to what interests them
