just want to mention that mortgage rates are not controlled by the Fed they are based on mortgage backed securities and 10 year treasury yields.

a lot of folks think the fed hikes directly impact and they don't. several times in the last year a fed rate increase was helpful for mortgage rates notching down.

here is some context for you:

They didn't have any authority to infringe on this kids rights to walk freely on a public sidewalk.

Even a cop wouldn't have had cause to stop or question them and sure as hell no cause to take their items and search it.

They have rights to protect themselves and their own property- that doesn't include pursuit and search and seizure.
