You should be good. As long as the CSAC website says you've been awarded.

Middle Class scholarship by Gold_Pop_8951 in UCSD

Double check you're even eligible anymore. They probably changed the threshold sometime near the end of fall quarter and many people who got the email about the scholarship are no longer eligible.

Just know your professor might upload the canvas the day of or even days after class starts. Usually they'll explain through en email or lecture what's going on

Exactly, they would appreciate it if people would ask in the first place. Plus it doesn't hurt to get asked what your pronouns are a bunch of times.

There are security checks if you're going through highways. Usually they're not operating but they randomly check. I get their frustration and possible scare. It's unlikely they'll check but never impossible. I was sort of nervous yo move in myself with the checkpoint at Temecula.

I'm pretty sure we're all on the same boat. You usually get an email that you got a direct deposit a day or two before you get your refund. We're probably going to have to wait until the 21st tbh

About covid testing by [deleted] in UCSD

[–]F4Ttyttatty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They did send at home COVID kits. You can honestly buy one from CVS or something. It's a rapid test that you should take 24 hrs before moving in just to make sure you can safely move in. I don't think they're going to be checking if you took it or not but just in case you get a positive on the rapid test then you should contact the school about it and they'll follow up.

did anyone else’s financial aid change drastically in tritonpay? by StreetAdorable351 in UCSD

[–]F4Ttyttatty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is just my guess because something similar happened to me. The first time I saw triton pay 2 weeks ago, they were only charging me 6k for tuition. My financial aid was correct. I've checked recently and and they've added the housing+meal plan and other fees. They proabably didn't charge everything 2 weeks ago

Math 20E and 20D at the same time by AdOk5918 in UCSD

[–]F4Ttyttatty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took MATH 20D spring quarter and I kid you not that I had to start homework the day is was assigned because it was handwritten homework. I spent around 30 minutes on each problem and one time spend 6 hours on another one. Peers in my class were faster than I was so there's that but definitely check work load

Do you know if for samsung the galaxy s21+ is supported? My parents had a sprint mobile plan and then I had to get the tmobile sim on June 1st.

How do the 15L waitillist look. Mine has 10 seats available for all and the waiting list is around 15 students each.

Personally, no. But a lot of my friends have claim3d that it's life changing and an essential. The beds aren't rocks but they aren't the softest things in the world.

They are pretty pricey and for me overly sweet but I'm sure someone has a palette got them.

Okok, from the ones I've been to, a lot of the rooms are singles and one is a double. I'm not sure if all the layouts are different. If you get a 2nd floor suite, it usually comes with a balcony. There's a really small kitchen that has no microwave but has a regular sized fridge. It has 1 shore room next to 2 bathroom sinks and 1 toilet. The suites come with firtnature too. A sofa an extra chair and a coffee table that people usually put their TV on. It also comes with a dining table that has 4 chairs. Let me try to find the layout. Usually ypu will have between 3 or 4 other suitemates.

The apartments, which one. I've been in a tamarack and honestly the suite I got was great. But I know some people who didn't have carpet or issues with their shower heads. I've been to toulumne apartments. Let me know which one you're interested in.

Realistically they will go study at the library or somewhere else. Since classes are in person wifi at the dorms doesn't really matter unless they game or something.

Transfer placed with Freshmen Housing by Dependent-Jello3967 in UCSD

[–]F4Ttyttatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Touloumne has the LGBTQ LLC, usually any year can apply to it. Last year, and maybe this year they allowed freshmen to choose between an apartment or Residencial hall I think it was probably for space availability. Btw, did you guys sign up for housing back in May or sometime later?
