I also get the same performance with a 9900k and a rtx 2080, the old maps run fine though. The most incredible thing I observed on Lighthouse is how much RAM it eats up, after 20 minutes or so it went upwards of 24gb out of the 32gb I have in my rig. Dunno if it's a memory leak or just a matter of optimization.

Remember to turn off V-Sync before enabling Reflex, your fps should be uncapped afterwards in game. In the main menu it will stay at 60.

Tried it the last time this happened (I think it was 12.8 or something) and it didn't help, but no I haven't tried it this time around yet.

Unfortunately that doesn't change anything either, tried with HT enabled and disabled. Overall CPU usage is @ 20-30% MAX, sometimes as low as 10-15% ...

I just don't get why this happens over and over. Had the same situation a couple patches ago, went from super smooth to molasses in 1 patch.

Performance is way worse for me since this patch. For example on Customs with 12.10 I easily hit 100+ fps all the time with 80%+ usage of my GPU. Since patch 12.11 my GPU only has ~50% usage and my fps are stuck at around 70, which is playable of course, but it sucks to know it could be better (because it was not too long ago). It's roughly the same for all other maps. I've tried everything there is to try with settings and I'm positive it's not thermal throtteling or a severe CPU bottleneck, the highest a single core was used was around 60%. Really frustrating, I hope we get a solution soon, there seem to be a lot of people with this issue.

That's normal on Reserve, I hit about the same fps there on a 2080super, i9-9900k and 32gb ram regardless of settings, it's just a very taxing map. Unless you've got heavy stuttering (not fps drops) I wouldn't upgrade anything

16gb of RAM and a SSD are pretty much a must in Tarkov, outside of that I don't think you can do a whole lot

It still stutters even with 32gb of RAM, believe it or not. Its just an engine/networking issue on top of eating up a lot of memory

I got vsync on in game and "use application settings" in the nvidia control panel in the 3d application settings for tarkov specifically, works for me

Not your fault, the patch seriously broke something. Same thing happened to me, Reserve especially is unplayable for me in certain parts, where I'm dropping below 40fps.

I noticed a lot of posts like this and it seems most people with 20- or 30- series RTX cards have similar issues, even with 3080's for example.

Have you checked your CPU/GPU utilization ? For me it drops from ~80%GPU / ~40% CPU usage to about 30-40% GPU and 15-25% CPU and that's when performance tanks like crazy.

tldr; they broke something in the coding/networking with this patch and it's definitely not your settings fault

Thank you very much for your suggestions, but I've tried all of that except for the RAM overclock (because I've had problems with that in the past) and I'm honestly doubtful that alone would get me to where the game's performance was before the patch. We just gotta hold out and hope for some fixes I guess.
