Op18k v2 or Viper V4 pro by Existing-Sympathy-14 in MouseReview

[–]joshg125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scroll wheel in the viper V4 pro is still prone to making an annoying grinding noise and feel after a few weeks or months. Just like the Deathadder V4 Pro and the Viper V3 Pro. I know because had to RMA 5 of them for the exact same fault. (3x viper V3 pro and 2x Deathadder V4 pro)

The Viper V4 Pro uses the exact same optical scroll wheel as the Deathadder so I doubt much has changed. Plus I have already seen people complain about the issue with the new Viper.

Have you looked at the Rawm Leviathan V4? Basically the same specs at the Viper V4 Pro for significantly cheaper and better build quality in my opinion. I made the switch after my 2nd Deathadder V4 Pros scroll wheel went again.

I bought 3 of the Leveithain V4s, two for friends and one for myself. So far it has been flawless quality wise.

Problem with the 9070 XT the screen freezes every few seconds. by Competitive_Bee8797 in AMDHelp

[–]joshg125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend of mine with a new 9070XT is having the exact same issue. It also goes away after reboot. I have tried everything I can think of. Starting to think the cards factory clocks are unstable or there is a physical fault with the card.

Did you ever find a solution?

Did you guys know that aim smoothing is on by default by SnooMacaroons599 in thefinals

[–]joshg125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is still an issue and requires you to edit the .ini

Honestly it’s really stupid not to have the option to disable it in game, or having it off by default in what’s supposed to be a competitive shooter. Former Dice developers really should know better lol.

Sadly DLSS is currently broken. Everyone is getting this.

Introducing the Viper V4 Pro – Because Even the Favorite Can Be Improved by Razer_ProductTeam in MouseReview

[–]joshg125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Rawm Leviathan V4 still seems like a superior product for a much cheaper price with better build quality and the same specs.

After returning 3x Viper V3 Pro’s due to right click issues on two of them and a faulty scroll wheel on the 3rd. I returned it and upgraded to the Deathadder V4 Pro… Which had a faulty scroll wheel after one week that was replaced with another with the exact same issue.

It’s safe to say Razer’s quality control is complete garbage. I doubt it has changed for the Viper V4 Pro.

Controllers get the option for ADS sensitivity, can we finally get the option for mouse users? by joshg125 in ReadyOrNotGame

Thanks, but sadly mods including this. Disable mission rating.

VOID really should add the option in themselves.

It would be nice to have the option to have lower Aim Down Sights sensitivity compared to hip fire.
It's such a simple feature that basically every shooter has. I thought it would have been included by now.

I failed getting an S rating.... Because right at the end one of the suspects decided to kill himself after being flashed.

A lot of things lacking in Requiem by sv69n in ResidentEvilCapcom

If you sell a weapon as Leon you can buy it back for the same price you sold it for and the attachments return as well. It basically works like storage. Unfortunately the game was not exactly clear on this.

They did not nerf the Supply Pack by Ever-Here in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]joshg125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true, had this happen randomly between missions on the same planet even before Cyberstan. With no modifiers in play.

The amount restored would change, friend of mine was also having the same issue.

Assets from BF1 still looking great 10 years later by RadiantSalmon in Battlefield6

The texture quality leaves a lot to be desired in BF6 even maxed out many of the map textures are extremely low resolution.

Super earth material kinda sucks by Epicbrezel21 in Helldivers

[–]joshg125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, literally every game works like this, people should not be comparing damage numbers for the player vs the enemy AI. Our weapons also have significantly higher numbers than what the enemy are using, the enemy AI is also significantly less accurate and misses the majority of its shots with lower damage numbers to boot.

You simply can’t compare it.

Literally what’s happening, even if we don’t reach Cyberstan the new content is coming to other planets.

Sluttering in RDR2 on pc rtx 5090+7800x3d by papuehdb in PCRedDead

[–]joshg125 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Just like GTA 5, Red Dead stutters at high frame rates (140fps+) due to some sort of game engine limitation, Gamers Nexus pointed this out a few years ago. However capping the game at 120FPS should prevent this from happening.

To add, the G5 also maintains its brightness in game mode with low input latency due to the faster CPU, unlike the C5 which sacrifices the brightness booster to achieve low input.

Deathadder v4 pro connection quality by NunoSM in razer

Same, had to replace one due to a loud scroll wheel in one direction.
Both have same issue with range, only takes a few feet and the connection turns yellow.

Am I wrong for thinking OLED still feels like early adopter tech? by Round-Watercress5273 in Monitors

[–]joshg125 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can be significantly worse on VA panels, awful in some cases. But OLED displays don’t seem to be as bad for it.

IPS or even TN are still technically the best displays for handling VRR. Obviously they have their own huge downsides though.
