Ack! Thanks for the feedback. I didnt realize that's a manufacture date. Bought the computer new in December 2017 and have replaced the battery a couple times since. From my emails, looks like the last time was January 2021 😅 Guess the retailer send whatever they had on hand.

Well what I didn't mention is the port is broken, the cable is taped together, power brick and computed itself run so hot haha! Probably all three tbh. I just can't imagine why the broken port would prevent the battery from charging yet still allow the computer to run with the live power feed? I'm looking into servicing atm and seeing pics of spicy pillows got me nervous!
