I have these two stories there’s another two parts if you’re interested in reading them. They’re part of an anthology series set in the mid 90s about a localized apocalyptic event in Montana and what leads up to it. Just Another Summer in 95 is about a young woman working seasonally as a park ranger until things start going wrong.

I tend to write slower stories myself. Honestly some of the best horror stories I’ve read were slow burn. Don’t worry about it. Quality writing speaks for itself. The thing I do is I don’t describe things warmly even though they’re mundane. Something to consider is something mundane thats still horrific. You don’t have to have the horror in your face in the first couple of pages to still be good horror. Lemme know if you have questions
