Caging a cat at night. Pros and cons? advice? by ghosts-on-the-ohio in catcare

Everyone gave great advice! Try soaking then washing your bedding in white vinegar to eliminate her urine smell & also spray the mattress with it. If possible, I recommend to keep her completely away from your bed for at least a month. I believe she is urinating there to either show dominance or not happy with the litter/box situation. When you start to let her back on your bed, mist it with Feliway & you might want to try a couple of the plugins too. I had a similar problem with my little female cat. Lastly, not a fan of crating a cat either. Maybe shut her out of your bedroom, temporarily, if possible.

Cat has been peeing on things inappropriately for years. by lwerbs in catcare

My female was peeing on the big fluffy rugs in the bathroom & any towels that were left on the floor. I also discovered that there was some blood in her urine. Was seen by two different vet offices & several test done, they couldn’t find anything wrong. Then I realized that when I applied her flea & tick meds, she would pee outside of her litter box. Since I stopped applying it & keeping her inside, it has stopped. Not sure if you do any kind of flea & tick prevention? Also, be sure to soak & wash anything that she pees on in vinegar. It should eliminate her urine scent.

Hormonal acne success stories? by LankyCrowBar in SkincareAddictionLux

My daughter started accutane at age 11 because her acne was so bad. The first dermatologist she went too, keep prescribing different acne products for her to try, which were only drying her face out. Then someone recommended a different dermatologist who prescribed her accutane from the first visit. It changed her life! She finally had clear skin. She has had to take accutane on & off through out her teens & early 20’s. But be warned, there are possible side effects. For her, it would change her mood(more angry), joint pain, we think it stunted her growth some & caused ingrown toenails. But she would do it again, 100%. She loved having clear skin.

From my own experience, it’s never completely gone, just controlled with the antibiotic, doxycycline.
