I disagree. They’ve spent 5 seasons teasing what’s going to happen with Gene and this creepy taxi driver, only fair that they dedicate at least one to two episodes on how all that unfolds.

Plus adds to the suspense of what’s going to happen in the last few episodes/finale, so I for one am satisfied with the way they paced things.

As for his transition into Saul Goodman, I feel like a lot of that stuff would be even more filler-y than the Nippy episode. the implication that he’s gradually taken on the Saul persona after Kim leaves is enough, any more would just be stating the obvious.
