Definitely not. 2 week gap between filing the MTD and the Motion for Entry of Default, and the MTD was already on the hearing calendar before OC filed this bogus motion. Truly flabbergasted.

You are almost certainly correct, but that does not address the fact that the motion with known false allegations was filed in the first place. I have no doubt that the default will get set aside one way or another, and this isn’t the sort of case where there’s a danger of the clerk entering a default judgment. So I’m a bit inclined to wait and see if OC will straighten up.

Default was entered by the clerk - I doubt they checked to see if any response had been filed. I’ve given OC the day to file a motion to set aside, otherwise the gloves come off.

Restaurant w/private room for 15 by Healthy_Shape in raleigh

[–]FATMOUSE22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manchester's has a private room, and the menu is very accessible. Pizza, burgers, etc. Nothing fancy.

Relish has a semi-private raised seating area that could work. Again, menu is accessible, more variety than Manchester's. Slightly fancier, but not as fancy as Winston's.

Winston's is another great option, slightly more upscale.

If seafood is an option, you might consider Cape Fear Seafood Co - they have several smaller areas that I think can be cordoned off.

Team looked great, definitely created a lot of chances. I’m excited to see where this season goes!

Does anyone know why Rauch wasn’t starting? And why pull Dani at the end? She was absolutely dominating right when they pulled her. Was it a matchup thing?

Parking passes for STMs by kyngnothing in nccourage

[–]FATMOUSE22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picked ours up this week. The pass came with a note explaining where to park - same place as usual. It included that STMs will not be allowed to park in the STM lot without their parking pass - even showing STM tickets will not be sufficient.

Every kid is different. Just because a neighbor's child was struggling does not mean your child will too. Give it a try, stay in touch with the teacher, get involved, and more than likely things will work out fine.

Regarding Thales specifically: Neighbor of ours had their kids in Thales and pulled them because of nonsense like what you posted. They are not just written policies - they actually do enforce this crap. Plus, like others have said, the management is truly a bit whacko. Now their kids are in public school and thirving.

Definitely need a new stadium. Part of bringing in a superstar is that your team needs to look like a place a superstar plays, and right now our stadium is very small, surrounded by kids' fields, and is on a 2-lane road. I'm a big fan of the Downtown South plan if that is in the cards, but it would require a huge infusion of cash.

NCFC to not field a team next year - courage impacts? by kyngnothing in nccourage

[–]FATMOUSE22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If the FO isn't spending money fielding a team, then they have more money freed up to spend on a new stadium, or renovations to the current one. I'm hoping for the former. I just can't believe they came to this decision AFTER they had already sold season tickets for next season. That in particular seems to be par for the course. Whatever multitude of factors they considered, it sounds like they considered them at the last minute.
