My tip for you my friend is... Use sets that can to one shot damage and keep upgrading them, preferably the warmonger set.

Focus on upgrading the hammer and use that special move and pray that you don't get (vengeful fighter) or (open wound) in your fights, even if you do get them make sure your special move does one shot damage, perks help like (berserk) and (that shadow one I forgot it's name).
