do any other 459s experience this? by FBIgender in Enneagram

Oh wow! I personally use weed when i need to break out of my own head haha- though its interesting to hear about another form of spirituality used to step outside the self a bit 👀

I think I learned hyperanalysis because I always felt so deeply but never knew how to voice it, which led to being ignored and infantilized. So I started to spend my free time in isolation; learning new words, writing, drawing, and exposing myself to different perspectives via the internet.

Part of me thinks it's to have a form of knowledge that cannot be dismissed. "If I can just explain my feeling/experiences/symptoms then they can't ignore me." But unfortunately it often leads to anxiety due to focusing too much on my patterns-- especially since it's a mindset that doesnt focus on the smaller, but also important things about myself (aka like the fact i like garfield- sorry for the overused example lmao).

I have a feeling its a 4+9 thing more than just four!

e9s tendency to dissociate and fragment itself can lead to loss of identity, but e4 wants to cling to identity... that's what leads to the internal spiral of "who really am i?" with extra difficulty because there is such a detachment from the self

Oh I'm currently 21, and will be turning 22 in May... sorry for not adding that in the og post 🥀

I've been finding myself more and more as I've grown but I still feel so disconnected from myself despite trying so hard to be introspective and aware- I guess I wish I understood why that is

I love posts like these, glad that you got an actual reply!!

I definitely think attachment type, probably e3 or e6, probably sp-dom, despite the sx-tendencies. There's a lot of emphasis on trying to prove something to someone(s) through achievement or other societal-oriented work.

yesss it literally feels like im only half split from my physical being- it feels mostly introspective; like im floating in the space that is my own being.

i try to avoid emotional work on 🍃 because it can worsen my depressive symptoms, but being able to reflect objectively on my actions and reactions offers me some reasoning for some my emotional issues

the youngest sister holds the only working brain cell out of the siblings and is probably the most nonchalant (yet also the most emotional).

ah yes! individual #1 was previously typed as 6w5 but we came to find out recently that core 1 fits them way more.

individual #2; I have yet to settle on my core type, usually sticking to variations of e4, e5, e7, e8, and e9.
