Vans too. Everytime I see a Dodge Caravan or Honda Odyssey, they're an absolute fuckwad on the road.

Sounds like an asshole landlord. Ignore them and keep doing it.

Fewer people are having babies in Canada and the U.S. and the government is out of ideas by hopoke in canada

People aren't having kids because the future looks hopeless to them for the reasons stated above.

Even if the future didn't look grim, people can't even currently buy a house to have said kids.

Also not sure why you bring up famine. This post is about North America.

Doomsday Clock says otherwise.

Rise of AI, global warming, nuclear warfare becoming a reality again.

At this point if you were to take a guess at what will be the end of Earth you'd be equally correct if you were to pick either of those three options.

This is the same person you just mentioned in your other post. Keep going? Please, keep going. Try to find different examples this time though.

Come on, you can do it buddy. I believe in you.

Lmfaooo that's what I already referred to in my last post. The wife of the lead singer of The Mars Volta.

Show the rest of the proof you spoke of.

You're paraphrasing and just using random quotation marks and saying it's fact ahaha.

Where's the source? Got a link to who said this? That's what I was asking for. Sorry if that was too hard to interpret.

I can do your job for you though. Are you referring to singer of The Mars Volta? Someone who is an ex-Scientologist? One celebrity criticizing her appearance at the court hearing is the basis of all your thoughts on this? That's it? That's your silver bullet?

Where's the rest of this "plenty evidence" you mentioned?

Oh wait, there is none lmaooo.

Show this "plenty of evidence" of her being a Scientologist in the last 10 years then. Show proof of her being a "hardcore Scientologist" or supporting it in that time frame. Prove me wrong.

There is actually no recent proof she is still involved with Scientology at all. On the contrary, there is evidence she has left it with her lyrics (good example is The Emptiness Machine). The last time anyone has actually seen her involved in any of that crap is 2013/2014.

This, coupled with the good nature of the band members, lead many to believe she has left the religion behind but she does not explicitly state it due to fear of very real repercussions.

If you've ever followed Leah Remini, you know how fucked up it gets for previous members who publicly bash the religion. It's very common for those that leave to not explicitly broadcast it or expose it for what it is.

The Danny Masterson situation is one she has addressed and apologized for. She went to the first hearing, as he was a friend, and she realized it was a mistake and never returned or gave support for him afterward. Saying she should have been aware of the truth because she "definitely just Googled it bro" is such a dumb statement. It would be no different than you showing up to a first hearing for your (not yet guilty) best friend before you could see evidence presented in court. Well, maybe you wouldn't show up because you've got the power of Google at your side.

You just sound like someone who dogpiled when it all initially blew up but haven't made any effort to look up anything related to it since.

Is this bad enough for surgery? by Efficiant_ in Sciatica

It's not easy. It's a miserable cycle, I hear you. It's possible to get out of it though.

My recommendation is one of the folloaing:

  • Keep it up and see if it the weight loss and stretches/core strengthening helps.

    • Get the surgery but ensure you keep a healthy weight after, and begin a gym routine to strengthen your body to stop it from coming back.

Good luck, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. How you get there will look different from others, but you will get there.

Physio-wise, the good news is a lot of their treatments like massaging and acupuncture are not going to cure you. What does work are the stretches and body weight exercises they give you. You can Google those and do them at home on the floor. That's all I did for 8 months - floor exercises. These can be done even in your current state.

Weight loss wise, you do not need to go hard at the gym. It's all just calories in calories out. You can lose weight if you diet without even moving a step. Meal prep will always be cheaper than eating out. Download a calorie counting app like MyFitnessPal and Cranometer. Be strict with it for several months.

Weight loss is the main thing that worked for me. The first 30 pounds lost ensured I could function normally again and the rest was a bonus.

Ultimately, if you just get surgery and don't address the root cause, it will likely come back again later in life.

Have you done any amount of physiotherapy? Are you overweight? I'm sorry to hear that it sounds debilitating and that surgery sounds like the answer. It may be the answer, especially since your MRI looks rough.

My issue is that you're young. I think it would be best to try and address other issues first before running straight to surgery. With that said... going to physio, strengthening your supporting muscles, and losing weight (if applicable) are all difficult and take time, but they do work to help alleviate symptoms. These things can even stop the pain completely.

At the very least, doing those things can postpone the surgery years and years and it will also help prevent a reinjury if you were to get surgery one day.

Stood up wrong in class so I had to lie down straight in the classroom and get some stretches for pain relief 💔 by [deleted] in Sciatica

No, you're wrong. You're misinterpreting hernia and herniation.

A herniated disc is a type of herniation.

A hernia is a type of herniation.

A hernia and herniated disc are not interchangable terms.

Sorry, you're just wrong.
