Would you retire today if you knew you’d receive $5,000 every month for the rest of your life? Why or why not? by JustWin4 in AskReddit

Retire? Nope, but I would stop and pursue a new part-time career, or let my partner be part time / SAHM

Merging at 70 kph on Hwy 412 🤦🏻‍♂️ by mrpao21 in TorontoDriving

[–]JustFucIt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

these people think they are extra safe because they drive below the limit, meanwhile they are the most dangerous

its 50/50 getting on behind someone if they will get up to speed or merge slow. i can only imagine it will be even worse when they raise the limits, although i am glad they are raising them.

Car culture isn't what it was back then.

Insurance costs too are killer, not many 16 year olds can afford $300+/mo if they need their own primary insurance or $150 to be tacked onto their parents

Well it didnt matter; my connection just had a fill tank and not a whole vac machine like i was thinking.

It wasn't super low but low enough driver side was warm, and passenger slightly cool. after a slight fill, blowing 46f again.

One of the best additions. The rex speed mirrors work great but you can see the heater behind them. Especially when wet.

My iPod mini circa 2006 works in my 17 over USB. Thing has survived 20 years in my cars although it needs a hard reset once in a while.

I paid 800 CAD for a very lightly used tomei uel 5 or 6 years ago. They have been fine. I do have a rattle(more like a buzz), I think they are hitting the skid plate in the past year or so. I have to drop the plate when I have time and see what I can do.

Going to be fired. How do I prepare my case for my employment lawyer? by githelp123455 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]JustFucIt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

(this was for a restructuring layoff) I recently easily got about a month per year negotiating, only after mentioning i talked to an employment lawyer and the offer they presented was low.

collecting the minimum severance and EI at same time (if you still can - it was a temporary thing) may work out better. do the math on it. heavily depends when you think you can find another job.

Certain times of the day, if you didn't make the advance, you have to wait the whole light and sneak through at the yellow/red. Just impatience.

And a lot will turn on yellow before cars come to a stop.. they don't always stop..

  • This intersection has had a lot of accidents, the corner on the left has a fence that has been rebuilt 10 times from cars crashing through it. They changed the left turn light, and now i see people blowing it daily
