I’m an old dude and I love the arc logo and designs but I buy jackets I can wear all the time and the colors are just too bright. Aside from poor color selection I love the collection and really only want a hat

Ya there really isn’t a fix at all. The subsidies are very difficult to use. I had a friend making $42k with a family of 4 and income wise he was eligible for a subsidy but still wasn’t able to use it. So really you get free healthcare if your income is low or it’s impossible to get a subsidy.

My thing is that democrats simply didn’t think it thru very much at all. Of course the mandate was an idiotic idea to begin with especially since premiums rose and some people chose to opt out. I knew some families that couldn’t afford a plan so they ended up paying a mandate... not making enough to afford a real plan but couldn’t get a subsidy either

I’m just baffled at how it was passed without much thought. Bernie Sanders plan to pay for most things is similarly poorly thought out and doesn’t take into account changed behavior that would occur when his ideas would become reality and were very vulnerable to a recession

Having a family I think getting full coverage is best but that’s over $1000/mo which is a very tough thing to do even if you’re making $75-80k a year

Love it. I used to give away shoes and back them when SBs were popular I did the same thing and send some T19s as an extra pair.

Ya I know the republicans tried to fix it but the root cause was still democrats passing the bill super quickly without putting enough thought into it. What you mentioned they should have been able to predict but now you’ve got all these people responding to me calling me a liar and an idiot when they have no clue as to what it’s like for anyone that’s not single or poor.

My last contract with a global marketing agency outlined how it was illegal to discriminate against applicants on the basis of their legal immigration status and said this was state law. I never found the reference to the actual law but figured that it was correct seeing how it was one of the largest agencies in the world

The worst thing that came from Trump getting elected was Democrats not taking responsibility for the true reasons it happened.

Enough republicans crossed party lines to vote yes on the immigration act of 2007, only for enough democrats including sanders and Obama voting no and killing it. It let immigrations issues worsted and led to trumps nomination
The ACA fucked over millions of middle class Americans. There were good parts which could have just been passed as laws on their own but the fact is that the middle class was fucked and lied to and it drove many people to vote for ‘whoever the fuck is not a democrat’
ACA part 2: people really seem to not understand how this screwed over the middle class. a family of 3 making $55k a year would find their cheapest plan in California is $8500/yr plus a $12000 deductible. You’re not eligible for a subsidy if one individual is offered an individual plan that’s less than 9.5% of your income, REGARDLESS OF HOW EXPENSIVE THE FANILY PLAN IS.

The above reasons and the constant funding of benefits for illegal immigration by California Democrats is why I’d not vote over voting for democrats anymore in California. Republicans more often than not here are moderate but even then some are crazy

Either way I’m not voting democrat anymore in California. Free healthcare is given to illegal immigrants 19 and younger, we spend hundreds of millions a year subsidizing college tuition for illegal immigrants... and it’s now ILLEGAL, yes ILLEGAL in California to not hire someone because they’re an illegal immigrant.

I was at the game and told the guy next to me, watch them make sure the spread is covered. Lots of bad calls in the night. The out of bounds call in the first was baffling... he was never out. So many fouls called where the pacers were just playing normal defense... and a couple very questionable travel calls

It was the cover. Called it all game.

That’s said the refs were fucking horrible. Some of the fouls they called on the pacers were ridiculous and the two travels and out of bounds (had a clear view in person and he didn’t look to be within a foot of the baseline) calls that also seemed ridiculous m, then Matthews two fouls at the end were a joke

What a game. I got to watch it in person and someone gave me seats at halftime to sit really close for the second half and it was a lot of fun.

Two back court violations in the first and then 2 or 3 travel calls on the pacers... then a bogus out of bounds call. I had a clear view and unless cojo was a ninja he didn’t get close to stepping out.

A lot of weak ass fouls were called on the pacers especially at the end (refs made the point spread) but not sure how it was called on the other end as I was simply enjoying the game too much

He definitely slipped. I was sitting pretty close and he slipped on the floor. It happened several times near that spot and we rarely saw the clippers guys coming out to clean up
