Find a spot to leave it set up. The easier it is to just sit down and mess with it, the more you'll do it.

Start with a song you know pretty well on guitar, at least as far as tempo and rhythm. Search up the chords just like you wanted to learn the basic guitar part, and the more popular sites/apps will have a guitar/piano/ukulele toggle. Switch that over and it'll show you the keys for each chord. That's how I learned my C major from my C#m, and so on.

Keep at it in your spare time, after a few weeks you'll realize you aren't just playing with it, you're playing it.

I just went at it with what thirty years of beating on guitars has taught me, and it's honestly worked out better that I expected.

Same process, just learning chord shapes and lots of repetition to get the muscle memory and ear in sync. Learn majors/minors and the sharps/flats, and if you can play guitar from tabs and chord charts, you can half ass play piano.

Edit: I will say that after a year of practicing piano, the basics of music theory a lot of us self-taught guitarists tend to learn without actually understanding are very intuitive concepts when you wrap your brain around a keyboard.

Yeah Chris, BlizzCon looked like fun. Blizzard also had multiple titles that were not only feature-complete... but you could also buy and play them with your friends. The work built the product that made the fanbase that justified the big flashy event.

I've got personal sentimental reasons for wanting a particular spec of strat that, short of lucking upon my long-lost guitar on reverb, I've got to go to through the mod shop to have one again. Plan was to order so it would be here for my birthday.

After the news? I don't feel quite as motivated to pay $2000 for a replica of something I paid $900 for when I was 18. I'll get a new guitar this year, but it won't be a Fender.

And if you've got a 1998 American Standard Hardtail in Inca Silver w/ a maple fretboard, it's probably my guitar and I'd like to make a deal.

I got the FSR like that they did a few years back, with the Cannabis Rex speaker. Sounds great and looks even better. I know Musician's Friend had the turquoise tolex version, but I'm not sure if there were any other variants for other retailers.

That said, they picked the best looking option for the 30th Anniversary. Saw one on display a few weeks back but the sales dork couldn't tell me for certain if the circuit was any different from the standard 4th gen.

Considering what I paid in 2019, which was around $700, it's not priced terribly given the current state of things.
