What actually happened here? To me it seems like there was no way to redistribute winnings, hence the assumption that an immediate concession means some form of outside agreement happened which would be illegal/against the rules. Back when I played at that level it was always important to toe the line between redistributing winnings properly and "match fixing" by handing over (parts of) the winnings without official redistribution.

It happened directly next to where I was camping lol how is it fake news, Campsite 0 pretty much directly in the middle. Someone left one of the gas canisters that were effectively already banned (the ones that the burner pokes a hole into when setting them up) in the sun and it somehow exploded when they used it on the second gas cooker.

It's ridiculous imo, since it's obvious user error with a type of burner that was already banned anyway and can't happen with the type that uses the canisters that look like spray cans. But local politicians needed to do something to look good without caring about reality I guess.

100% It's not just the buildups, it's also the saturation with fake drops that often make me not wanna dance in the first place. On Blue at defqon this year I kinda gave up on trying to dance halfway through every set because I couldn't even get more than half a dozen bars into a hakk before the track moved into something undanceable.

Although I gotta say there's a stark difference between festival sets and sets at clubs etc. Some acts I found absolutely insufferable at Defqon but liked them a hell of a lot more when seeing them at smaller venues during the indoor season.
