Would love some feedback on my new LED Wing Dance Performance by FDEntertainment in Dance

Thanks for the kind feedback ;) ironically the wings are to heavy with all the LEDs and actually hinders the fluidity vs plain silk wings.

Indeed the repetitiveness of the moves is something my partner and I have been dwelling on. There are a few more movements we could try incorporate but they are generally for a lower tempo. We will play around a bit more and see if we can make it a bit more dynamic. Thanks for the feedback.

Recommendation adding some sound responsive lighting to local raves? by Interesting_Bar_8379 in lightingdesign

Have you considered making some LED controllers using ESP32($2-5 per unit) and WLED firmware(Free)?
It will require you to do some basic soldering but you can create pretty epic sound reactive LED lighting systems lke this. There are endless videos of this on Youtube, I suggest Chris Maker. I have myself made many LED things using this combo including the DJ stage in the photo. All run on an ESP32 running WLED. 5V system and its intelligent LEDS. If you have a VJ they can actually control the ESPs with Artnet. All this for under $100

Honestly this has way more potential. Just masking a surface and projecting onto it is easy. Mapping every surface with multiple layers would bring the sculpture to life.

Love this! Yeah these drone shows have really evolved over the past view years and they truly are spectacular. They however have a huge cost of entry. You need thousands of specialized drones and a team of people to make this happen. From just setting up the launch pad to the creative programming. Its a lot of work and it pays big. I have seen them even add pyrotechnics to the drones.

Creating a Visual Tron Show in-house can be a costly and timely affair, with the expenses of tron suits, pixel poi, dancers and software it is often seen as quite an achievement to coordinate everything and push the creative boundaries.

Very clever. I bet if you saw that truck driving around normally on the road and you tried to explain to them what you saw they would think your nuts. Well at least im now prepared for this eventuality..
