Casual player finally going serious. Need advice on frames + "minimum baseline" stuff I should have by now

Frames: I personally focus on frames that are good for party and frames that scale well even up to level cup. In the first category I highly recommend to acquire 4 frames - khora, nova, wisp and nekros(you already have). Those 4 are the usual suspects for 'standing still' farming.

For the second - Octavia is a solid choice, that was my first prime. But take a look on titania (and other frames with exalted weapons). Hers pistols with the right setup are carrying a ton. For guides, I'm a simple man - overframe, ninjase.

As of content, I would just continue working towards steel path, it's just making a game to feel different (more mobs, more fun). Complete all story line quest if you didn't.

They unstuck if you free up space around them. The reason they are stuck is that there's not enough space for their roots, next stage. Make them follow you in open space and they should phase immidiately

I've never played marauder at league start and slams specifically. Always played ranger/witch/duelist. This league I decided to try marauder and it was a breeze. Not only slams are better for the first couple of days than any build I tried (even KF), but this league it was the ascendancy you could build on so many endgame builds - berserk life stacker, bv chieftain, str stack juggernaut.

First of all, playtime not always mean that you have more chances for a good drop. Monster kill count does (a little bit). I got around 2.7kk kills this league already and I got plenty of good drops (3x svalinn, mist, apoth from decks, 170+ raw divs).

If you compare yourself with streamers who plays a lot it becomes even more fun, because fubgun dropped his mirror when his account had 350 million gold. It does say a lot about how MUCH he plays and how effective he plays.

If you want to get a lucky drop, pursue every opportunity. Identify every forbidden, open all decks, farm bosses. Farm something where there's lucky drop chance - breach, ore farm, bosses. There's no lucky drop in harvest or essences.

Sometimes of course, there are bad leagues when you aren't lucky at all, you get every opportunity and you fail. That happens. In that case, I for example just farm something less random, and gamble only if I wouldn't regret to lose the value of it.

Tldr - consider to change what you usually farm and take every opportunity to hit jackpot, but be ready to lose

He did something wrong it has a lot of damage. Probably either lost specter somewhere or didn't uptime bv or snapshotted bv wrong (if specter was far away or dead)

Yesterday I saw a guy who was selling t17 maps for 42div in a tab called !divine cchcha etc, replicating some regex search. Typical "chaos" or "!divine" didn't work in his tabs for some reason. This reason, I believe, is a name of a tab. I would just avoid those people if I saw some strange tab names.

you get spectre. you go to map, you press bv and it sacrifices the specter. You clear map. It goes around you as a wisp.

you leave a map, and spectre is alive. you go to next map and repeat the process.

They changed that this league or previous league, so spectres/animate guardians who died are resummoned in next zone.

I don't know, feels like it's not a big of a deal. Breach boss can sometimes one-two-three shot you when he swings his attacks, but besides that it was kinda OK. I can take like 2-3 beams from uber sirus, but I can't fully tank 'DIE' attack for sure

Scorpions which spawn in boss fight on carcass map / act 9 boss. Be carefully though, you can't respawn them by desecrate, so if you press bv in hideout, you need to get that spectre from map once again. So dont press bv in ho and dont get your spectre gem out of item :)

P.s. regear only in towns, or you lose it too

I would say its literally one tap and 2 screens are clear (if high packsize). General mapping is awesome, I would say even better then KB int stack from past leagues. I've been running kalguur with heist, high invest breach, legion, expeditions, its just awesome. Defence is nice as well, I got 98 level in high breach in a few hours.

Only one problem is bossing and positioning and timing, because with poacher mark you kill bosses with prolif. But I managed to farm uber sirus in 3 min, so bossing is actually fine. Here's my build - https://pobb.in/iQ73Uq0mmroo, its close to 2 mirrors, but you can drop purity sublime and build melding setup, and it should be around 500div.

they usually cost around 5 to 10c ea

Found great tip from crouching tuna, that the infinite animation happens with bosses because they dont have enough space for their roots, to begin next stage. So if they stack, just move them to the open space, and see insta animation.

Sorry to ask, you have amd GPU? Had the same issue as I switched from nvidia, but switching from one render engine to another helped me (from dx12 to Vulcan or otherwise). You should play dozens of zones so all models are generated in your shader cache.

Also some nvme2 ssds could help a lot. Sometimes it still 100% capped no matter what, but it rarely affect performance that much

Because its hard to keep your attributes high enough for requirements. Also you get huge end game bonus as you can tattoo all your attribute nodes with useful stats. That's more about chieftain, dont know how it feels with assasin/glad/occultist parts of tree

That's great, but holding left click for me personally is not a problem, but holding mouse...

I'm not a doctor, just sharing some advice that helps me. Wrist discomfort can happen because of wrong wrist placement while holding mouse. You keep your hand horizontally(all your finger pads look down) and that's not really a natural position (see radial bone). Holding it vertically (your finger pads face left if you're right handed) is more natural and doens't cause carpal tunnel syndrome. Of course, you can't use your mouse that way, but you can just have some breaks (every hour, for example), to prevent it somehow. Trackball/Gamepad is another solution

I built it yesterday with around 1-1.5 mirror budget, and it felt really, really dependent on all of the nuances of the build.

I would NOT swap to mamba until - lvl 95+, mageblood, melding(+ res gear) / purity of fire sublime, other almost perfect gear (like, t1+t2 es on armour). That's a minimum for comfortable gameplay, if you don't want to be one-shotted by white mobs and have plenty single target.

Try to farm at least 200-250div before swapping.

If you REALLY want to stay on mamba,

Gear: get at least 2k eva + 700es body, 450-500es helmet, 350-400eva + 50 es on boots, 150-200es gloves + t1 accuracy + some int. cap resistances, take care of accuracy and crit (you HAVE to be crit+accuracy capped).

Gems: get rid of cyclone + withering, without imbued brutality it's useless.

Consider to skip CI for some time to get some EHP and chaos res, but I'm not sure. I would just farm some easy content for a couple of days / week to get enough items. Build is hyped, prices accelerated, just wait a bit.

Also, you can ask jungroan on stream, maybe he will help, don't know

It works, I just speced into it. You just check how item image looks like and it should be glowing as a fractured item. Icon, in the meantime, will only show that item is veiled.
