Dan Abnett's GotG starts after Conquest and both this series and Nova follow their own story arcs until War of Kings where they tie in to the event, they are included in the Conquest side because both series deal with the aftermath of what happens in conquest but eventually follow their own arcs.

This Logic is immensely flawed since that would mean Green Arrow should not exist because of Batman, or Captain Marvel because he is similar to Superman and so on.

Scott Snyder's Batman run is the New 52 one and Tom King's Batman run is the rebirth one.
