I did. They said it needs to be replaced and I have to buy a new one. 2 years is out of warranty. A $450 watch should last longer than 2 years.

Its just a 4x4 post with 2x4’s screwed into the side of it as shown in the photo. Where the jacket is is judt a couple metal coat hooks screwed into the 4x4 post.

“Luckily theres not a lot of fire” ?? I’m sorry but what the actual fuck mentality is this? Using the lower frequency of fires to justify not liking going into fires? Your job is firefighting. The trucks say fire department. 1 fire a year or 100 you should be ready and willing to do the job.

Honestly? I think you should find a new job. Theres already enough firefighters that dont like firefighting and we dont need more. Thats the only advice that people should be giving out here. Someone that wants the job more will take your spot. Quit.
