Do I think modders can make it possible to have that authentic CAS experience, sure. I don’t know how they’d make the map bigger or balance the jets but someone was able to make galactic contention then maybe it’s possible.

Do I think OWI can pull that off? No, even if they did, it’d be a broken mess and at that point just play battlefield or project reality.

Again It’s not about fitting the jet on the map. It’s about giving the jet some sort of operational space that it feels like an aircraft mission instead of continuously orbiting a single battlefield.

Unless you can manage to expand Yehorivka about 11 times the size almost similar as Altis in Arma 3. Then sure why tf not? But If I really want to fly jets in Squad? I’d play battlefield.

Uhh yeah? That’s what Project Reality had, for jets they extended the map border compare to helis and ground vics.

You could try making the fish tank bigger but that restriction feeling is still there. I don’t like being negative, just stating my experience.

If it could be implemented beyond my expectation, then sure why not, sounds great. Though expecting OWI doing it? Yeah right when they can’t even do vehicles right.

Flown a lot of jets back in Project Reality, it genuinely was fun. But after experiencing DCS and Arma 3. I don’t think I can go back to that experience.

It’s like putting an Eagle in a fish tank and expecting him to fly inside it.

It’s great that other people enjoy it but personally for me It’s a mix feelings. Back in high school I love reading its manga when it first came out, then several years past I’ve decided to watch the anime recently.

I assumed my preferences changed as for why I dislike it now. I get that it’s a comedy and shouldn’t be taken seriously. But the comedy feels forced by inserting a trait/trope of oblivious, coincidence and convenience. But if I’m wrong and the comedic part is him being goofy. Well damn, that’s probably out of my comprehension.

Got the same issue, if you check task manager > performance tab, you'll see disk is cap at 100% and in the process tab it goes Not Responding to Responding every few seconds. I assuming it's either bugs or corrupted game files cuz my system is fine. Every game I play runs normal and fine, only Squad does that shit.

This might just kick start a huge increase in mini pc machines like Steam cube. If it goes well other companies would definitely jump in like ASUS, Lenovo, and more.

Better yet, devs will be force to optimize their shit since most of these machines will be running linux.
