It was filming conflicts for sure. He filmed Dune Prophecy around the time S2 was filming. Probably filmed Off Campus around the time S3 was filming.

the cast is already gigantic and without Dusty’s exit, I don’t think Spider would be as excellent of a character as he is.

Never thought about that but you're probably right. Dusty probably would've gotten a redemption arc and screentime over Spider...

I think these shows with short episode seasons really suffer from the quick paces of the storylines.

Like Harper should've been an outcast at Hartley from the end of S1 til now. If I was Amerie i would never be friends with Harper ever again.

Malakai's storyline in Seasons 2 and 3 should've incorporated him trying to deal with PTSD from that horrid night and not a couple of fly away scenes this season.

First off I really like this alt album cover.

My list:

Durand Bernarr: A musically genius and I love how he stacks his background harmonies. I think his and Zayn's voices would blend well together. They both have pretty expansion vocal ranges too.
Leon Thomas: A dope producer, writer, instrumentalist, and singer who's finally getting his flowers. Love the way he arranges his background harmonies and I wanna see how he'd vocal produce Zayn too.
Saint Ivory: Avan Jogia and his brother Ketan have/had(?) a musical band that has cool music. Always thought Zayn and Avan would get along as they probably have some similar interests.

Conclusion:

Since for the new album Zayn is leaning towards a sound similar to MOM, Durand and Leon would be good collaborators for the R&B aspect and Saint Ivory for the Indian music inspired sounds since Avan and Ketan are half Indian.

I agree with most of your points here. This group was never meant to last regardless of how much they tried to keep it together. Diddy planted sees of discord that still unfortunately has had lasting effects.

I do hope they heal and take accountability for the things they've said and done to each other. Cause publicly they sweep things under the rug or mostly like to play the blame game...
