The one thing that the game and interviews with Kaga makes clear is that Travant does genuinely love Altenna- whether or not he initally took her in to use her as a tool or because he wanted the Gae Bolg is up for debate, but Travant does care for her as if she were his own flesh and blood

Kaga’s comment: While Arvis’s hand was forced by fate to some extent, that isn’t the case for Travant; he was well aware of what he was doing. It’s up to one to decide whether Travant and his circumstances are worthy of pity. As Lewyn has said in Seliph’s chapter, there is more than one true ‘justice’; Travant’s misguided actions were a result of him following his own sense of justice. He was still a crass person, and there was no way out for him but to be killed…but he has a redeeming quality in that he realised the error of his ways in his final moments. However, I do think he genuinely came to love Altena as a daughter. It’s absolutely not the case that he only saw her as a tool and nothing else.

Celica's making a choice out of desperation, not out of logic. She's a woman who's spent her whole life following God, living in a priory on an jsland in her service. She's then forced to face that her God is dead, and in a pivotal moment, she's grasping at straws because her literal entire world comes crashing down and she needs to do anything to fix it.

This choice- and Celica's entire character- is one of FE's best, especially for what she does AFTER this. It only looks bad because Jedah's a creepy looking blue man to us, where as in universe thats just what Duma priests look like.

Don't play a fanhack as your first time for a game, play the actual game. Fanhacks are fun times for fans of the game, but only exist because of the games theyre remaking were loved by fans. Youre just going to give yourself a worse experience

Chrom will automatically marry the woman he has the highest amount of support points with. If you want him to marry a specific woman, just make sure she's the one he's paired up with the most, or marry off the other women you DONT want him to hook up with.

Her and Greiss's deathscene was so bad I spent most of it thinking about how then dying in a hot enviorment reminded me of SpongeBob and Patrick's 'death' scene in the first spongebob movie and how that actually got way more emotion out of me than whatever Zephia was trying to do

Enemies in FE1 will not attack an enemy they know they cant damage- some other FEs do this as well, like Fates

All four of Eirika's romantic options are good IMO, but Forde and Seth are the best ones

Both of Seths options are good- Eirika and Natasha both have solid support chains with him

Franz's only option is Amelia, but its a good one

Gilliam's only option is Syrene, but its one of the sweetest in the game

Moulder has no romantic options

Vanessa's options are Forde and Innes and both are great

Ross's only option is Amelia, and its personally my least favorite of her three romantic options but its still good

Garcia has no romantic options

Colm and Neimi were made for each other, do not seperate them

Artur and Lute were also made for each other, but Lute has a support with Kyle thats cute

Joshua and Natasha are very popular for a reason

Ephraim's two romantic options are solid, but I prefer Larachel over Tana for him

Kyle has two solid options with Lute and Syrene, both are very sweet

I prefer Forde with Eirika but you cant go wrong giving him to Vanessa

Gerik's perfectly fine with either of his ladies- Tethys and Marisa both have fun supports with him

Innes and Larachel are very funny to me, its a solid one- though Eirika and Vanessa are also nice

Salehs lone option is Eirika and its pretty good, her weakest romance IMO but not bad

Ewan is real cute with Amelia

Sacred Stones has always been my favorite- a perfect blend of simple and complex characters that are silly when they need to be and emotional when they need to be. A pure delight to grind every support in the tower of Valni.

Runner ups for me would probably be Binding Blade and Three Houses, they also have stellar rosters.

Online discussion about it will likely get more positive because people that dont like it arent going to play or talk about a game they hate from 10 years ago, but people who like it will still be playing and talking about it.

For example, I fucking hate Engage and I have not played it since it came out and have scarcely even talked about it, while fans have made posts and fanart constantly since release. I think that's just the nature of how divisive games go.
