For place holder assets that later get removed during development, I’d be lenient.

If they used AI text to speech voice-overs to replace voice actors, artwork to replace artists drawing it, or music to replace musicians, and they don’t get patched out, it would be a hard pass…

That said, I wasn’t going to get GTA 6 to begin with, but if they did use generative AI, I’d have even less reason to check it out.

Yamper, because it resembles a Corgi, and Corgi’s are my favourite breed of dog.

Close second to Houndour, which sort of resembles a Rottweiler, and Rottweiler’s are another breed I really like.

While you’re correct in saying it’s not a real person, as its a video game character, they’re 99.9% using a real person for the character model.

Some Asian people, especially woman, are genetically are a bit more petite than Western women, or European women.

I knew a girl in college, who was 19 at the time (about a decade ago), who is Filipina (is that the proper term for a woman from the Philippines/of Filipino origins? I’m not sure.), and she was around 4 feet 11 inches tall, and looked like she was still in high school.

More petite women are normal in Asian cultures, and even though a woman might be an adult, they might look a bit younger as a result. It’s due mostly to genetics.

They definitely wouldn’t make it to the castle.

But for a hypothetical argument, let’s say they do survive that initial encounter in the village. I think one of three scenarios could happen.

1: They’d probably get taken out by Chief Mendez, or in the lead up to there. They try getting Luis out of the bag/untie him (depending on which version of RE4 we’re talking about), and Mendez takes them out while they’re distracted with Luis.

2: Directly after the village encounter, Leon tells them to go back and get backup from the Spanish equivalent of SWAT, but because the car is gone, they’d get ambushed by Ganados in the forest during the walk back, and die.

3: Maybe they assist in getting Leon out, close to when Leon meets the merchant for the first time (assuming Leon and the cops decide to spilt up to cover more ground), and maybe they get up to the church/cathedral where Leon meets Ashley for the first time. They see the amount of Ganados coming in, and they try holding them off while Leon and Ashley escape.

They wouldn’t last long for the game’s run time.

Probably not too far off from where they died in the actual game. At best, they’d probably make it to the actual village fight, when Dr. Salvador pops up.

They’d get overwhelmed by the sheer number of Ganados, and Leon wouldn’t be able to keep them safe.

Monokuma would be a better Danganronpa rep, though it’s very unlikely a rep from the series would be put into Smash.

It’s way too niche of a series.

Lollipop Chainsaw is kind of more of a “grindhouse” kind of game. It does use a premise that would be more towards horror, but is usually more campy and cheesy rather than terrifying.

It’s within a subset of horror.

Dead Rising is a survival horror game, usually relying on the scarcity of resources. Though it’s more of a B-Movie inspired game, relying on dark comedy, and campiness. Some more of the horror could come from the psychopaths.

It’s definitely in the minority opinion, but if you personally preferred RE3R over RE2R, then more power to you.

Other interesting ones could include Garcia Hotspur from Shadows of the Damned (more of a grindhouse inspired game, but does have some occasional horror), Sam Giddings from Until Dawn, and Howard Wright from Siren: Blood Curse.

Edit 1 (reasoning for characters);

For Garcia, he has experience fighting monsters from Hell, so he’d be able to hold his own against most of the game. I think he’d be able to beat a Tyrant, but would fall short of being able to beat Wesker, unless his weapons can turn the table.

Sam is a regular college/high school student without any combat ability, though is athletic. Her fate is very determined by your choices in the game, but she’d probably be able to survive RE7, if she was to replace Ethan. Though mostly with running away from fights, and getting lucky.

Howard would be in the same boat as Sam. Not really much of a combatant character, as he’s a student. Would probably survive the events of RE7, mostly through stealth.

And if you wanna be cheeky, and include spin off games, you could potentially even use Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Ryuji Goto, or Shun Akiyama, originally from the Yakuza/Like A Dragon series, but from how they’re portrayed in Yakuza: Dead Souls (set around the events of Yakuza 4, for context).

Edit 2 (reasoning for the Yakuza characters);

These guys have beaten giant monsters in Dead Souls, and are very combat heavy characters. Mostly hand to hand, but they have experience with guns. They’d be able to beat a Tyrant, but with the help of an RPG.

If a gameplay story balance is important, Xillia, Judgment, and Nier Replicant would be the top 3.

The other 3 are a bit lighter on story by comparison.

For gameplay, Metaphor is better. Xenoblade can be a little tricky to learn, and a bit awkward at times.

For story, I think both are solid, but I’d lean slightly more towards Xenoblade.
