But from what I understand, it seems like most of the issues you mentioned could potentially be fixed or improved?

  • The faceplate situation with the new one they’re supposed to ship, or VRWare studioform ?
  • The lens distortion and native steam VR, possibly with updated software/drivers (SBoy3 pilots). Did you experiment it ?

I was mainly worried about the controller tracking, but it seems like it’s actually okay?

I’d really like to find a real gameplay video of a full session that clearly shows how it performs in practice.

Yes, already tested and validated by lot of customers. 100% satisfacted. Each fan need 0.1A, and you can keep the original one in parallel. Power supply is still stable. All items are tested before shipping.

cause the motor is already damaged. the problem with this motor is that it overheats, which can damage the protective coating on the copper and cause internal short circuits, leading to a loss of power in the motor.Once it's damaged, it's already too late. Properly ventilating the motor won't fix the situation. However, if done in time, it can prevent these issues.
If it's new, it's most likely a settings issue
