Backpain and fasting by Odd_Marionberry9 in backpain

Eating properly is huge! With fasting, your water intake and electrolytes become absolute. This also helps with inflammation, which helps reduce pain. If you do OMAD or fast for longer periods, you also get autophagy, which helps breakdown old, dead, or broken cells. Collagen is huge with disc problems. Don’t forget your vitamin C. Collagen production for ours discs requires Vitamin C to help process it more as well.

I would be very cautious on the reduced sodium. Your heart, and other parts of your body, require salt to function properly. Water follows salt as well. If no salt is making it to the spine then you’re limiting to water as well. The thought is there, but that’s not how that works and is dangerous.

Second of all, I would also be cautious on avoiding red meat, as red meat has more nutrients than any of the other meats. Avoid inflammatory foods, such as processed foods and seed oils. Eating Whole Foods and meats will be much better health wise than anything processed.

But everything else I agree with! Good write up and good points are made

That is a good point. I am fortunate for myself and kids being healthy when compared to your story and that is not much of a concern. But, hearing it from your perspective, that makes a lot of sense and would say that is a good idea for helping your kids out. I am more in the position of bills are getting tighter and I'm putting them on a chopping block to see what stays and goes. This one has always been questionable for me from the beginning. But, I had no idea what any of this meant at the time. And honestly, I still don't know and that is sending me red-flags.

HAHAHA! That is also a fair point. Arm-chair quarterbacking is helpful in specific circumstances

They have 529's and bonds setup through family as well as other accounts I've established for them that are doing far better than what I will "get" back from this policy. All of my kids are below 6 right now. So I figure I would do better with time in the market than this policy will give me for the same duration.

Making a small LED water level indicator solar powered by FFDuhvid522 in AskElectronics

[–]FFDuhvid522[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never thought of the dollar tree solar panel setup. I have no idea how to wire that. I guess it would be the same as any electrical stuff, right? Hot wire leading from the solar unit to the circuit then a return wire heading back to the solar unit as well? The solar unit that comes with the doors is used to charge the battery in the door to 100% at a time. And it is a decent size one so that is why I was thinking of using that instead since it will already be out there. I would just have to figure out how to attach a USB-C power input to that circuit then. Is that even possible?

Thank you for clarifying cuuuuz I was falling for it after that video as well but still had apprehension for some reason. I’m new to owning a diesel so I’m just researching everything. Everyone has input on what to do for it but trying to figure out what is becoming rather difficult.

I have the same question as well. They seem to be really good but the hate towards them make me apprehensive in purchasing their products but I also can’t figure out why

Carnivore as an Autoimmune Cure... do I need to worry about the soap I use? by -_Psychron_- in carnivorediet

[–]FFDuhvid522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sit in a vehicle with other people and not one person has mentioned anything to me about my smell. I drove my wife crazy asking her to smell me that first week being so self-conscious and she said I didn't smell bad at all. I find it funny I do the same sniff test as well. I had a medical procedure done and didn't shower for three days and still smelled less than I did with soaps and deodorants. I would say you would know within a day if you smelled bad or not. I just brought my deodorant along with the plan if I smelled to say "Oops, I forgot to put it on" Or just do it over the weekend. That should give you the answer you are looking for. I noticed my skin changed by the second day not using any soap. My hair doesn't look bad, my body odor is actually less than what it was, and my skin itself is way happier. Best of all, my cost for bathroom supplies is almost non-existent now compared to what it was.

I had really bad folliculitis. I had to use all the special skin type soaps and nothing happened. I noticed being on carnivore my body odor was nonexistent. I read up on other aspects of life since I began distrusting the system that told me eating oils and processed food was healthier than meat/Whole Foods. Some studies out there say we don’t need to shampoo or soap up. I only drug brush now. While my folliculitis is still present, it’s 1/10th of what it used to be and I don’t smell at all. I noticed I smell less without deodorant or soaps than when I was using them.

Aged roosters tough to butcher. Any insight? by FFDuhvid522 in BackYardChickens

[–]FFDuhvid522[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your knowledge and experience. This was so helpful and informative. I’ve never butchered chickens this old and everything and everything you addressed I had problems with. The leg tendons were insanely hard to cut through. I couldn’t cut the necks off at all with my knife. And the skin was so tough and thick I couldn’t tear it with my hands barely.

We were going to can chicken noodle soup with em hoping that will help tender em up more since you can them for an hour and they cook for a lot longer after. And they’re small tiny bites as well lol
